Oh man. The Greek Freak on the Suns? Pinch me.
No pinches forthcoming. Keep dreaming for now. You’ll wake up eventually.
When it happens, let me know.
Still waiting for Kobe and T-Mac to collaborate in Phoenix (remember that rumor?)
I remember it was said ORL wanted Marion and JJ, so PHX said no.

I think the biggest need for next season is to get a couple of dependable bigs.

You can't put yourself in the position where you're depending on Frank Kaminsky to play center in important games.

Is Baynes healthy ad re-signable? Does he fit into what the Suns want to do? If not answer to these questions is "No." then they have to go and get a couple of big men who can actually play a little basketball when called on.

I think Saric can be that guy off the bench. With Oubre back, we won’t have to play Kaminsky. Need a 3rd string guy though

Go tell that to the Rockets.

And the Heat, and the Celtics and even the Clippers are only playing a big for half the game. Those teams hardly play anyone over 6-8 or 6-9. Of the teams left you have the Nuggets, Raptors, and the soon to be eliminated Bucks that play guys over 6-9 for more than 25 minutes a game.

Wiggins on that contract is a negative asset. Warriors would need to have Klay in the package.

Simmons went through a few potential Giannis trade scenarios on his latest podcast with Ryen Russillo. Started with suns, which other than a potential Miami offer(Adebayo and Herro) is the only one that I feel might make Milwaukee think.

Fair, but I think Giannis wouldn’t have any problems. He works hard and is competitive, they’d get along fine. Not sure they are a great fit though as neither really shoot. Miami makes it work with Jimmy and Bam though, so probably not a huge deal. If they’ve got Dragic, Robinson, and Crowder around them, they have a lot of shooting.

How many picks does Miami have though? I know they don’t have their 2021 pick, and that makes it so they can’t trade 2020 or 2022. Is Adebayo/Herro and a 2023 1st better than Ayton/Oubre/#10 and probably 2022/2024 1sts?

Crowder and Dragic are FAs FYI. Crowder is a guy I'd love to see brought in here too.

I think if the Bucks had their choice, they'd send him West. I'd also start with two 1sts, not three, to go with Ayton and Oubre.

Ya, I’d imagine they’d like to bring both back though. Both are good fits around Jimmy/Adebayo and would be around Giannis too.

And the trade market around Giannis will be interesting. Not many teams have as good of a centerpiece as Ayton/Oubre. Admittedly, Adebayo/Herro is better, but we have draft picks. I’d probably start with Ayton/Oubre, but I’d eventually add just about everything to get Giannis. If they want 3 1sts, sure. I’d hate to give up Bridges, but I would for Giannis. Now if it’s Ayton/Oubre/Bridges/Johnson and 3 1sts? I’d probably need Giannis to sign an extension at that point. Or at least give us a good indication that he will. That’s a ton to give up.

I wonder if the Blazers would look to build a package around CJ. Not sure what else they'd offer up but a Dame-Giannis duo is intriguing just the same. Maybe the Kings offer Bagley, Hield and picks? Would the TWolves part with KAT or is more or less lateral or a loss for them?

Who is going to give them a better deal than Ayton, Kelly and 2 first round picks while sending him out west?

And like the others said, you worry about keeping him after you have him. Let Monty work his magic for a season and see how it goes.

And the Suns could feel like a team that is irrelevant to everyone else, not a threat and could offer some nice high draft picks.

I’m sure Portland would, I just don’t know that they have enough to get Milwaukee excited. CJ + Nurkic? I don’t think that’s enough.

The Kings could put Bagley/Hield in an offer, but that also doesn’t beat Ayton/Oubre. I’m not sure about the Wolves, they’ve got KAT locked up for 4 more years. Giannis is obviously better, but what’s gonna keep him there?

Denver is the one team out west that could get interesting to me. Would they swap Jokic for Giannis? Probably not without insurances that he’d stay. Murray/MPJ is another interesting one, but you’d probably want to pair Murray and Giannis.

Is it? I would rather have Ayton/Oubre than Adebayo/Herro, personally.

The bucks also have Thanasis on their roster, I think the brothers would like to leave together... they didn’t cause troubles overthere, but... we are awful at handling brothers...

And Bam makes a third of Ayton's pay. Herro is a gamer and on a rookie deal for 3 more years where Kelly will be expecting a big raise in July.
