I think there will be good players available at the minimum this summer.
Have anyone in particular in mind?

Trier, perhaps. He should be a target for us.

Here are a few I think might be available at the minimum or slightly above it. I'm not advocating for all of them, but I think they represent value at that price.

Skal (RFA)
Biyombo
W. Hernangomez
Dunn (RFA)
Shaq (RFA)
Valentine (RFA)
Galloway
J. McRae
Caboclo
John Konchar (RFA)
Solomon Hill
Marvin Williams
McLaughlin (RFA)
E'Twaun Moore
Kenrich Williams
Trier
Nerlens
Roberson
MCW
Gary Clark
Alec Burks
Harry Giles
Belinelli
RHJ
Napier

Not all of these guys will go for the minimum, but there aren't a ton of teams with space and exceptions will dry up quickly. We can find some good deals in the bargain bin.

I've had Biyombo, Skal and Hernangomez on my list for replacement bigs if Baynes and/or Saric leave, tho not really great options as main backups. Hernangomez has the skillset and IQ, but not the athleticism and couldn't crack the Hornets' rotation. I doubt Nerlens can be had for the minimum but who knows.

Another vet who may be on the radar could be Jeff Green. Solid vet who can go inside-out, start or come off the bench and be had on the cheap. Marvin Williams is similar but I think I like Green more.

I think Green has found a home in Houston. Of course if D’Antoni leaves, he may have lost that home.

I think Alec Burks could be a really good signing. I’d look at Harry Giles or Meyers Leonard too

No chance we sign Clarkson. He’s a good scorer but the opposite of a .5 player.

Dumb question. What's ".5"? I see folks mentioning it on here. Is it a nickname for a strategy or gameplan of ours?

Phoenix Suns coach Monty Williams breaks down the 0.5 offense in which he wants his team to either pass, drive or shoot the ball in 0.5 seconds.

Jordan Clarkson is a “23.5” player.

Did you guys see that Brandon Ingram lives in Paradise Valley, AZ? Or that he accepted the MIP award from Paradise Valley? You know...Oubre is from New Orleans. Would you trade Oubre and #10 for a Ingram in a sign & trade?

New Orleans would hang up in disgust.

Did you guys see this? It's interesting.

Could the Suns see a change to a Paul, Booker, Kennard backcourt next yr? And still be able to resign Saric, Baynes, Carter and keep Payne?

Uh in a heartbeat. No way NO is doing that trade. Why would they want to trade Ingram?

Chris Paul is my least favorite player in the league. I could never cheer on a Suns team with him on it.

It's not about you, sauce. It's about the team. Does it make the team better? ;)

Well, you do have to consider the phxsuns.net team too. It wouldn't be as fun without Saucy.

Good point.

This makes me think. Can everyone respond with their least favorite player, the one that would make you turn your back to the team if added? I want to make a list of those players to avoid.
1. Chris Paul
2. Derrick Rose
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?

There’s not a player that would turn me off the suns. The last guy I’d want here is probably Marcus Morris back.
