Are you serious?! She's been 95% of their Suns coverage! That really sucks. If they don't replace her, I'm out. Even if they do, they better be at least as good if not better. I'd like to know why and I'm going to ask since I'm paying them money.

same here. I almost never read stuff on there from the other teams I support. It is 95% Suns, and again, that is 95% her.

if there was a way for me to get a refund I would. I am paid through the end of September, and the 2nd year I paid full price for.

They also laid of Scott Bordow and one other person who covered the Suns. Not sure what the plan is to cover the team. I'll likely cancel as well.

Quite the response from you guys. I didn't have a subscription but based on what y'all saying , this kinda just fits with the Suns doesn't it
Much like ESPN , we are not paid attention to so if there are lay offs the person covering the Suns who the Athletic probably saying that content is all that valuable to their website thus making her expendable.
Really sucks that we're such an afterthought

Wow. I guess they just gutted the entire Suns team.
At least we still have Duane Rankin at AZcentral. He is really good at getting real answers during interviews.

I heard they laid off 47 writers. Probably just getting rid of a lot of the local content for smaller markets.

Well, I'm glad we made a statement today. I might looking into getting the rest of my money back. I subscribed for the sole reason of frequent articles from a Suns' beat writer.
