Let's use a little self reflection here. McDonough's 3rd-8th players on those teams were the equivalent to the 11th-15th players on normal NBA teams. His track record for development was...lacking.

Do we have an official word on this account? It’s gotta be fake right? This last one is a rip on the current suns, but it’s also a burn on McD himself. He put those teams together, he chose to not use the G League.

Wow didn't realize. We feel like a more mature team tho. And just because we're the youngest team doesn't mean those guys need the GLeague. You're not sending Ayton down because he's 20. Book's 22 and been in the league 4 years. Bridges is 23, Oubre 24, Cam is like a 27yr old rook. He's also the one who didn't utilize it when he had it.

We got a little more mature with Rubio/Baynes, but we also off loaded Crawford. We also started last season with Ariza, Chandler, and Anderson.
Only guys over 25 on the team are Saric(26), Kaminsky(27), Rubio(30) and Baynes(33)

I'm pretty sure Ayton had his 21st birthday.

Sounds like this is step two of getting Monty to look elsewhere as soon as the team has a little success. Step one was cutting the coaching staff recently.
