Agreed. If I were a GSW fan and they made such move, I'd be livid. But as a Suns fan, I am not interested in trading Rubio for their 2021 pick.INFORMER wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:54 pmRubio makes a lot of sense for Golden State, but I don't think they're giving up their lotto pick this year for him. That is pretty close to the GM malpractice that we see from our franchise. I think if a deal was made, it would be for a 2021 pick and their 2020 second rounders.Ring_Wanted wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 10:30 amGSW could use a handler for the second unit, but they'd be crazy if they use that pick fir Rubio. They should be shopping the pick, but Rubio doesn't do a ton for them; I'd look elsewhere.

Rubio to GSW for a 1st rounder feels like the rare trade where both teams lose.

No way, I dumped the Warriors now that they aren't the front runner any more. I even shut down my fan site, http://gsw-warriors.net/ .

Better fire that bad boy back up; they're going to be really freakin' good next season.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 12:40 pmZING!specialsauce wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 11:57 amWouldn’t you be happy seeing your favorite player on your favorite team?

When you look at next season and realize for us to make the playoffs, we don't just have to be better than the 5 teams ahead of us, but also the Warriors, you realize what a high mountain that is to climb. I am assuming that OKC's spot is our best chance to grab. Lakers, Clippers, Denver and Houston are all locks in my mind. I would expect Dallas to get better (Luka is a top 10 offensive player in the league and they have Carlisle), and Utah has Quin Snyder.INFORMER wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 4:21 pmBetter fire that bad boy back up; they're going to be really freakin' good next season.Mori Chu wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 12:40 pmZING!specialsauce wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 11:57 amWouldn’t you be happy seeing your favorite player on your favorite team?

Wasn't there also a recent quote about him needing to be ready 'spiritually'?
If the Suns somehow get to 5-0 or better and he never plays a game in the bubble, I'll be a bit irritated with that decision.

Could be tough for Oubre and Baynes to see any time. Monty said he won't play a guy who hasn't gotten any 5v5 action in practice and the schedule makes it tough to do so:

As difficult as it is, I think that's the right decision by Monty and one I'd expect a former player to make.

So I’m now two wins away from winning my Vegas bet for the Suns winning more than 29 games this season in spite of the shortened season and yet I won’t get paid even if they do it. Just have to win two out of the next 6.
