Watching the third stringers play in the fourth quarter yesterday was pretty painful to watch. Having a huge lead and us having a game today was the only reason they were out there.
Jerome is so far from an NBA player right now it isn't funny (especially considering we gave him 2 year guaranteed contract).
My hope for him is waning.

He is 22, so he still has a bit of time to figure it out, but it likely won't be here (especially since we don't have a g-league team to send him and lecque to next year).

It’s amazing how a players stock can elevate in a short time. Carter did not receive nearly this much love throughout the season.
I liked him during the season for his defense and hustle. He changed a couple of games the same way he's done in Orlando. But then he'd be asked to actually run the 2nd unit and he'd take a step back. But let's also consider he's still just a 2nd yr player. We talk about wanting player development, X or Y player in the 2nd round, project players and then get impatient when they're on the roster and don't play well right away. This break looks to have really helped young guys like Bridges, Cam and Carter.

Yep, his strength was not as the main distributor. He was miscast previously.

We still have a G-league team next year. It leaves the year after.

Good to know. Didn't know that.

Didn't realize that SunsRIt. I thought they weren't moving to Detroit, but they were still not our team this coming year.

Ty Jerome is going to need to drop down to the G-League or play overseas for a couple of years to get where he needs to be. Maybe if he improves a lot, he can come back. I was hopeful that he would figure it out, but it doesn't seem like it is happening so far.

The way I read these the team is still ours for another year.

Yeah, I think you are right. Seems really strange considering we don't know where they will play the next season, and if they will be used by us for development.

Jerami Grant and Tyrese Haliburton is where I’m leaning.
Can't get that done running it back with only the 10th pick (at best) and the MLE.

Yeah, I thought he might go undrafted, but at the very least, I thought Kyle Guy was more of a NBA player.

I think Bright Side has it wrong; I think they are confusing the location of the team with ownership. The team will move after the 20-21 season. However, it is now owned by Detroit; it does not belong to the Suns.

That was what I remembered, but I didn't bother to do the research...
