Got it. Then I don't think it was a bad call to toss him (since that is how it is called in today's game). You don't escalate a confrontation when you already have a tech and it is your playoff debut. Stupid on his part.

Indiana just couldn't sustain much once they lost Oladipo. Hope he isn't out long. Without him and Sabonis, they probably aren't even a playoff team in the east.

I watched it, they need to get some things worked out. Luckily they’re playing the Magic, so they can afford to use the first round to get going. If they play like this in round 2, Miami will take care of business. I guess that’s the risk you take at not taking the bubble seeding games seriously.

I don't know if the Lakers will lose the series but they're very thin in terms of talent. That's the type of roster that can carry you in the regular season but gets exposed in a playoff series.

Bucks won't lose to the Magic but it also shows how good a coach Steve Clifford is.

I also watched most of it, but I don't want to read too much into the first game of a series. Although Bud isn't exactly known for his playoff adjustments...

For sure, it was not smart on his part (I believe he said he forgot that he already had one tech). But I don't think he should have gotten the first one, and the second one was more "standard procedure" than a result of something egregious on his part, so combined it just sucks.

My ideal scenario this year would be a Blazers/Raptors finals, with Dame winning Finals MVP.
