IG? Internet Groper?
I assumed this was not serious, and spent a few minutes thinking of dumb IG acronyms (iced grapes, idyllic gasses) before deciding not to.

That's a very subtle way of NOT posting them!

The shorts should be plain black. Maybe with a slight trim but that vertical line ruins the horizontal sight lines on the jersey for me.
Go Suns!

A lot of good stuff today especially from Monty and Jae (who didn't test positive for the 'rona)

I'm bigly excited about Crowder's affect on this team. Reading the quotes about Booker being a large factor in Crowder coming to Phoenix makes me very optimistic for future signings. Not only will tough minded vets like Crowder want to play with him, but I think younger players will also look up to Booker.

Of course the key is earning the success in the playoffs.

It is crazy to me that a 24 year old, #13 draft pick, with no playoff experience, had an influential role in attracting Crowder for less money than other teams were offering. I realize this wasn't a top-tier FA signing, but still, it does bring hope. Book has a pretty decent level of respect around the league.

The bubble legitimately did wonders for the team.

I know I watched more NBA basketball (not just Suns) in those weeks than I typically do across the last few months of the season. I think a lot of people were like that, including media folks that don't typically bother to stay up until 2am to watch west-coast games, and only have time to watch a couple games they DVR'd the night before ahead of them starting their job of talking/writing about the previous day.

So... Do you think Monty thinks Jae Crowder is a versatile defender?

Many were worried that Booker would get tired of losing in Phoenix and bolt for greener pastures. Turns out he so respected that players came here instead.

my initial reaction to the Crowder signing was ok that's solid
I saw some concerns about wishing it was a more versatile player off the dribble and hoping his shooting % doesn't drop off too much. I really wouldn't fault persons with such concerns but personally I was still happy with what I expect he will bring

I will tell u this now though, his interview was easily the best for me. Obviously from watching games you know he's a big communicator/talker on D but I expected his persona to still be the cold serious guy u see during the games lol. Him smiling so much threw me off lol and all his answers were very thorough. We all would have read the cliche stuff about vet presence, toughness and holding players accountable when he signed but after seeing this interview my doubt is basically zero when it comes to how he will impact the team tbh. I'm gonna say from now without even seeing him on the court that folks worried about Ariza type deja vu need to bury that talk.... :?

I think a lot of fans will be surprised by Crowder. He's not a guy who looks for his own offense off the dribble, but is a very good ballhandler in the open court and can make plays in a point-forward type of role. He can grab a rebound and bring the ball up similar to Saric and distribute off the break.

I thought the Crowder signing was solid. My only concern is if he reverts back to his 33% shooting from 3. He’s one of those guys that feels like a good shooter, has the reputation of a good shooter, but actually isn’t a good shooter except the 1 year in Boston and last year in Miami. If we get that version of Crowder, he was an absolute steal for all the defense, toughness, leadership he also brings.

I think he'll see about 37-38% from 3. It's a good system for him and he's playing with better players so he won't be forced to do too much.
