Book looks in mid-season form and is looking good defensively. Looks quicker all around. DA has been engaged, mid-range J has been working. Cam Payne starting and a bit loose with his shot but just had a nice runner in the lane. Damion Jones and Stix are the first subs for Cam Johnson and DA. Things got a little sloppy with the subs, some running and quick shots. Jazz are starting to knock down their 3s with Bogdanovich, Clarkson and some others getting hot.

All subs now with Carter, Moore, Nader, Stix and Jones to end the 1st qtr. Moore looks stockier than I remember. A lot of energy and scrambling on D. Stix with an impressive drive and finish against Favors. Jones is active and athletic, you really notice his size out there.

I’m not sure why guys like Hollinger were laughing at Damian Jones signing an nba contract. He seemed to belong out there. He’s got size, he was hustling. I don’t expect him to play meaningful minutes, but as an emergency big? Sure, why not.

Jones looks solid defensively so far. He’s active, moves his feet, and challenging shots.

Great debut so far for the rookie. First he drives agains Favors and finishes at the rim. Then he cleanly strokes his first three. I didn’t recognize him. I said to myself, who was that?! It was so smooth that it looked like a guard.

Suns playing like they had no idea that teams got three points for shooting the ball from far away.

Looks like the same, 25 win team as always without Rubio or CP3.

2/3rds of Utah's shots are three point attempts, and the Suns look shocked every time that it's a thing that's happening.
