The new look Suns featuring Chris Paul roll into Salt Lake City on Saturday to take on the Donovan Mitchell led Utah Jazz in their first preseason game of the 2020-2021 NBA season. It will be the first chance to see Paul, Jae Crowder, E'Twaun Moore, Langston Galloway, and first round pick Jalen Smith in a Phoenix Suns uniform.

No CP or Dario tonight, Cam is questionable. CP knows what he's doing so not worried about him getting reps. Plus it gives Monty more minutes to flesh out the guard rotation a bit and get Payne, Jevon, Moore and Gallo some minutes. Dario being out should give us a good look at Stix and Jones, tho bigman depth could be an issue if he or Ayton miss some time.

I know some might be surprised or overreact to CP3 but no way I expected him to play 4 preseason games
anyways I have had a young player I was eager to watch or being a homer for that they will be solid/good each of the last couple seasons
was a homer when it came to Josh for quite a while and finally had to concede it wasn't happening lol
yes Mikal packing more consistent scoring punch is the final piece but I still feel good that I was high on his potential fit
very very happy that Cam making analyst look like they overreact
I can see what Jones thinking in picking Stix so I will obviously closely watch him but Cam Payne is the "unproven young player" that I ready to go to bat for this season , just feel there is something there and that he will be a reliable solid contributor and put those backup pg worries for folks at ease so I'm anxious to see how he runs the show tonight in his 20mins or what's not

I think we'll be OK given our guys have played together so much and somewhat recently. This is basically the bubble team starting. I think our 2nd unit could be sloppy with so many new faces but it shouldn't be Knicks-Pistons level bad.

I'm not concerned at all. Sure I wanted to see his Suns debut tonight but he's a long time vet. Perfectly understandable. Save him for the games that count.
