That Steph Curry kid is pretty good!

I wonder how the quarantining of players for contact tracing will ultimately effect things for playoff teams this year.

Thanks for the great threads as always, carey.

This Bagley trade situation is ugly. Family members of players getting involved rarely turns out well. Are his days numbered in Sac?

I don't know what to make of the Warriors. I have thought that they would miss the playoffs. But if Wiseman is the total package as he seems to be, their ceiling goes up considerably. I still think they will struggle this year. Draymond seems to be rapidly becoming washed up, which hurts them a lot. Steph is still amazing, but you can't depend on him for all your scoring.

I'm glad the NBA is being strict about COVID exposure and quarantining, even for a star like KD. If they get the players to be careful now, it'll be more likely for them to be healthy later when it really matters. Maybe next they can get after the coaches who constantly remove their masks to yell at the refs...

Dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble...

Say THAT five times fast!

Twenty-one dribbles over the course of about twelve seconds in that clip, or ten more than Klay Thompson reportedly had in scoring 60 points in an entire game a few years ago. Different guys, different roles, still kind of an amusing contrast.

Harden got the lay up, but no one wants to play with a guy like that.

It's not much of a mystery why a lot of good teams aren't eager to completely revamp their team in a trade for him.

Brooklyn putting it on Utah without KD. Up 20 at the half.

Grant Hill interviewing Nash: "You got the band back together. You called Mike. You called Amare. But you didn't call me!"
Nash: "I knew I couldn't afford you."

Also, Amare has a new nickname. "Crew chief." Because he roams the Nets sidelines during practice with a whistle & is constantly blowing it.

I'm sure it was just a joke because it would be weird for Grant Hill to work for the Nets while owning part of the Hawks.

If they’d have to buy him out of his Hawks partnership, it’s understandable why Nash decided he couldn’t afford him.

It just feels like there’s a lot more parity in the league this year. The Bulls win in Portland tonight.

I can't remember which podcast it was, but one I heard recently said there's a big underdog that wins outright every night in the NBA so far. The hard part is figuring out which one it'll be.

Maybe but I honestly peeped the standings and was like right , lots of weird early results and chose not to think too much of it as in both conferences some of the supposed quality teams are languishing at the bottom
Who knows, maybe there might be a few surprises with all that's going on

Nash surprised just about everyone with his new starters but the team responded
