To this day I don’t understand these, it just shows the refs are not good at the most critical time of the game. Not sure it benefits anyone. There’s no compensation or moral victory so why bother.

I’m just thrilled about how Ayton has looked the last 4 games. Although he was pretty gassed in the second half last night.

It’s everything we’ve been asking for and it’ll pay big dividends for the rest of the season if he keeps it up.

For transparency. Fans demand accountability for the officials, this is thier way of providing it.

He did travel, but we should have fouled. Though Ayton having 5 fouls is a good point.. need someone else to foul.
Who cares if you foul out, if you win the game?
Exactly.

It’s only accountability if a red gets fined or sent down to the G league to ref for a few games. If there’s no consequence, then there’s no accountability.

Well the league prefers to keep their evaluations in house, so we don't know if this comes into play or not.

I'm ready to see AI officiating. I can't remember them doing a worse job than this season, but maybe I'm just watching more games than I have in recent years.
Send me a PM if you're interested in joining the phx-suns.net fantasy basketball league.

He might be a good official, but he’d probably have to PRACTICE.

I'm not sure if McCoy is spry enough anymore for that.

I don’t see why they don’t have a ref up in a press box somewhere that can just overturn a call. He can watch on a monitor and if he sees something questionable...he can take 30 seconds and review it. If he can’t make a determination in 30 seconds, call on the court stands. Same ref can review things like whether a shot was a 2 or a 3 while gameplay continues.

Exactly. I prefer that than just having the "don't criticize officiating in the media" policy and nothing else.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.
