Well, well, well. Where are the LOL SUNS people now? Any heard from Amin lately?
He is right until he is wrong. And we haven't accomplished anything yet.

I should quote a famous Tarantino line here but I'll refrain.
You're right, but it's nice to see and it doesn't look like a fluke at this point.

Really interesting metric about points added and defensive points saved. Highlights how helpful Kaminski and Bridges have been so far. Booker's placement is interesting.

I don’t love TPA...it’s especially troublesome at rating defense. It uses BPM, so gets all its info from traditional box score stats...where defense doesn’t have much.

Amin's probably telling a 45 minute story on some podcast about how Sarver wouldn't validate his parking back in 2011.
Ironically, to this day he's still searching for validation.

It’s fun to be in the middle of a stretch where things are going well, especially given all the understandable panic when we dropped to 8-8 (and yes, I was definitely one of those freaking out). At the same time, I agree that it’s a good idea to consider The Wolf’s sage advice regarding jobs not yet finished. There’s a lot of season still to go.

A lot of us on this site liked the trade at the time, but I think the general thought about Saric was that he's a marginal NBA talent. Most on this site would have agreed with that at this time last year when he struggled his first few months with us. There were even plenty of people on this site hoping not to bring him back over the summer because they thought his good play was a fluke.

Like a lot of the guys on this team, he is playing above what many thought his ceiling was.

I'm so happy that we got the best version of Dario, because he's a joy to watch and you can tell he's a joy to play with, too.

I was more upset about taking Cam so high, but came around once I really dug in. Was big on Saric because I had seen him in Philly and thought he just needed the right situation with the right offense. Thought he was overwhelmed as a starter and the only real big on the team with Ayton and Baynes missing time. He found himself in the bubble and that's the version we needed. The ball in his hands more, making plays off the dribble and with his high post passing. We tried to peg him as purely a stretch 4 initially and it took away from a lot of his game.

I'll take it a step further and say that TPA is a bullshit stat. Take it to the farm and plant it in the fields because it is absolute manure.

You were more patient with Dario than a lot of folks.

Saric got blocked under the basket a lot early on. He has learned how to put a body on guys and pump fake, draw fouls or at least get a shot off.

I was a true believer in the Antichrist from the moment that trade was announced. Although, I was on the verge of conversion before the bubble started.

That's a very good point. Has he gotten blocked like that this season?

Actually that was Eddie Johnsons point during the last game.

Does Saric have a cleft lip? I hadn't really noticed it before, but it seemed noticeable in his recent games.
