Game Day: Hornets (14-16) @ Suns (20-10), Wed 2/24/21

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (6:00 pm PT/9:00 pm ET)
Place: Phoenix Suns Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: FSAZ, NBALP

The Hornets come buzzing into town on Wednesday. Unfortunately for them, they're running into a buzzsaw as Phoenix has won 12 of their last 14. It will be fun to see LaMelo. Hayward is questionable.

Go Suns!!!

And hopefully Book goes for 50 on them for the All Star snub.

Hopefully Book scores an efficient 25 and sits the entire last quarter as it’s a blowout Suns’ win.

Is LaMelo gonna defend Book? He really might go off tonight.

Their perimeter is tough with Rozier, Graham, Hayward and Ball. Washington and Bridges could give us some matchup problems or DA can dominate the paint.

They were up 8 on the Jazz fairly late in the game (late in the 3rd quarter, anyway), prior to the Jazz going on a huge run to put them away.

I'm looking forward to seeing Devin "petty vengeful scorched earth" Booker play tonight.

I am looking forward to a Suns win. This is about the time they start to get full of themselves and let their guard down again.

Im rooting for the Hornets in the east, they’re a fun team.

but I kinda want the suns to completely embarrass them and see Devin Booker drop 71, nothing personal just business.

fellingd good vibes about this, Suns win.

How about 74, and he'll be only the third player to do it.

At 70, he’d become just the second player to do it more than once. (Wilt did it six times.)

I agree with Wally, they are a fun team to watch and man their commentator is nuts lol. We all know MJ gets trolled plenty for the deals he has signed off on over the years but Rozier n Hayward playing well.

Graham is still Out and although they play Zeller decent minutes, they play lots of small ball so definitely a Crowder/Cam day

I think the rest of the guys might be more annoyed about everything than Book. Like CP3 said, the chip on his shoulder always there anyways lol so let's continue with the good basketball 8-)

I wonder if it was because he was playing against a bunch of 6ft7 non athletic white dudes? Anyone that actually watched him and the competition at the time, would he have been as dominant in today's NBA?
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton
