Isaiah Mobley is someone I like for the Suns. I haven't seen him projected to get drafted in any 2021 mocks.
I like him too. Seems like he would fit with the personnel and style of play.

I think the mocks are really off at this point.

Not only that, but wouldn't it be so Suns to pick the lesser brother?

I don't know. It's been a long time. There's new management in town.

You're right of course, but this practice has been in place for many a management while Sarver has been owner. It's very on brand for them. I was kidding about it. I don't care if he's a brother to one of the best prospects, especially if he's the best available.

Anyone have an opinion on Roko Prkačin? I've decided to like him even though he has barely played big kid basketball. He seems to have the coordination and aggression to make it in the league.

Ayo Dosunmu is a guy Jones might actually draft who I think could help us. He can do a little of everything, and I think he will be a good NBA shooter. Has the potential to play next to Booker or Payne.

Here's a question. Do we draft for need or do we draft BPA?

Jones is going to draft who he thinks is the best fit. It won't be BPA. And it may not even address a need.

The Suns will be drafting in the 25-30 range; I think Ayo is a potential lottery pick.

someone pointed out JJ goes after guys with high BPM in college basketball.
Luka Garza is #1 this year.
Ya I saw that, is he an nba prospect?
He definitely has NBA skills, but he is really slow and can't jump. So I don't know if he translates. He has got a motor, fire, and fight, so that could really help him level the playing field. He could probably take advantage of a big like Ayton, but I think teams will be able to easily expose him on the defensive end.

You are probably right. I don't know if we've addressed the 4 spot with Smith. I'd hate to repeat what we did with the point guard spot with those consecutive Okobo/Jerome picks at the 4 spot.

I get a lot of Tyler Hansbrough vibes from Luke Garza. They're types of different players, but I think Garza's professional career will play out similarly to Hansbrough's. They're just not good enough for the modern NBA.

He is a teenager so Jones won't consider him, and he'll likely be drafted before the Suns pick, but I would love to have this guy be a Sun:

Nice find, INF. He looks like Paul Westphal with some of that offensive creativity. I think he has a much better chance in the league than Jason Preston.

OTOH, the defense in that league is horrific.

It wouldn't have been Devin Booker, either. He would have drafted Justin Anderson.

I'm not sure I like Jones's draft sensibilities. But in a season where we will have one of the league's best records and will therefore have a very late 1st round pick, I don't mind if Jones picks an older high-character guy who will work hard and try to fit in.

He and Vasquez will surely get a shot in the league.

I've spent most of this game trying to figure out why Suggs is so much more highly rated than the other guys on the court, then that block and one-handed, half court bounce pass on a dime happened.

I can't figure out if Drew Timme is two inches too short or the next Domantas Sabonis.
