Lather, rinse, repeat.

Same story as last night.
Not quite.

DA's hit the wall. Someone else mentioned the rookie wall with him and we're seeing it. Hardly played last year, quick turnaround this year, higher expectations, averaged about 32mpg in Jan and Feb, just had a kid. He's dragging out there. I don't think he's purposely dogging it or that this is the kind of player he really is. He's better than those numbers.

Last night's game was ugly. Maybe our worst win of the season if that's a thing? Unfortunately I think the Wolves are in our head a bit. They have some chippy young guys who don't really care who they're playing. It always sounds like an excuse or a cliche when fans say it, but the refs have really been awful of late. I think it's a league wide thing generally, but it's still crazy how Book doesn't get calls going to the basket. Good to see Monty stand up and go at the refs for the guys tho.

I also think the refs sometimes test teams or players with calls or non calls, so it's good to deal with this stuff now. Book can definitely do a better job keeping himself composed rather than continue getting Ts or picking up dumb fouls or barreling head first to the basket when he's frustrated. He really seemed taken out of the game mentally, only 1 pt in the 4th.

Solid enough game for Paul, who finally took over a bit in the 2nd half. Bridges with another quiet but very solid game. Wish we could get him more looks or that he'd be more assertive. Not sure he's quite there as a 3rd option offensively and that's where his value will really take a leap. Crowder was solid again, hit a big 3 and got the foul late in the game. Wish he were a bit more physical tho.

More and more it seems like we go as our bench goes. We need Payne hitting shots and putting pressure on the defense, need Dario making plays.
Cam Johnson is the 3rd guy and not having him has hurt a bit more than we've realized. Nader's been decent but there's a noticeable difference between his 16-20 minutes and Cam's. The Wolves also gave Dario some problems with their length and athleticism. First time I think he's really been taken out of his game. I don't think we need a steady 9th or 10th guy, and I like that Monty can mix and match - it's been Gallo recently, before that Moore was getting time, Carter got some burn Thursday along with Frank as the big. But the Big 3 off the bench really give us a boost.

You’re right, Cleveland probably says no...we’d probably have to throw in something else.

Right. Larry Nance Jr and Journeyman Javale are incredibly in demand. Better throw in role player Bridges too. FOH.

Nah, Bridges is awesome. DA is the one playing like garbage. When’s the last time he had a good game for us? We can’t trust him at all. He’s like our 7th or 8th best player now and he’s getting worse.. At this rate we’re just gonna decline to extend him a qualifying offer and let him walk next year.

Hey guys.

It's been a LONG time. Hope all is well. Great bounce back win tonight for the Suns.
Despite using our only ever #1 pick on a center, we still need to fix the paint.

Tell that to the center he is guarding.
Exactly.

I don't know why then took Galloway out - he was terrific tonight.
How many bad games has he had? How many times has Monty gone to him and he wasn't effective?
He has been fantastic for his role this year. And hardly gets any time, much less consistent time.

Cleveland would say no. They have a reliable, young, productive big with a great motor in Jarrett Allen. They have no reason to make that trade.

Exactly. Monty has done a good job with the bench, but sometimes it feels like we could use Galloway more than we do.

Just finished the game finally. Glad Monty is sticking up for his guys. The officiating is getting worse each night. I don’t know how the NBA condones these assholes with whistles. Ref show night in and night out.

How low does DA have to sink for people to finally realize this not part of the process but this is really just who he is? Going to take years and years of work on his psyche to get him to realize his potential and how he’s supposed to play. He’s skating by on pure ability at this point. He’s not lazy but he really shows nothing that makes me think he’s figuring it out. I see the opposite. Just projects a “just happy to be included aura” when he’s out there.
