I would like to see better play from the backup 2 spot, but I agree that Redick wasn't the way to go.
Trendon Watford. Please and thank you.

I guess he’s not coming either.

When the playoffs roll around, I like cam in that 2-guard spot in 3 wing lineups.

I didn’t really want Aldridge anyways. I’d guess he goes to Miami.

I'm not a huge Aldridge fan at this point in his career. I also feel like if the Spurs couldn't find a way to use him, he's probably done.

I’m really not even expecting us to land a buyout candidate. All our contracts are guaranteed and I’m not sure I love any of the potential candidates. I guess some buyouts could surprise, but the only one I’ve heard of as a potential buyout that would pique my interest is Gorgui Dieng. Didn’t he have a run in with Booker once?

Think he had something with Book. Dieng would make me feel a little better heading down the stretch knowing we have a bigger, defensive body on the bench. I'd definitely take LMA if he were willing to accept a smaller role. Other than those guys, don't think there's anyone else.

I think Aldridge would provide value in the playoffs for us. We need one more big and some go-to ability beyond Booker and Paul; Aldridge would give us both (obviously in a limited role).

Same thoughts on Dieng but add Whiteside to the mix as well.

Ya I’d consider Whiteside...I just don’t really see any incentive for the Kings to buy him out. He’s on a minimum deal. They’ll just keep him. I’d also take Olynyk to replace Kaminsky if he gets bought out.

Well there ya go. I’d go get him and release Kaminsky.

Get rid of Moore, we don't need him. Dieng would great.

No knock on Moore
I think he did well when he was called upon for the most part but I'm all for Dieng.

Plus I prefer big lineups tbh so on the days we can't use Gallo I would like Cam at 2. Still a Payne fan but not too fussy about Monty playing him and CP3 together at times in the last couple games.
I rather have two of Mikal, Jae, Cam and Craig on the court or even three of them. Just like how switchable on D those guys are. So like you said don't see the scenario where we need to turn to Moore while there are obvious instances when Dieng could be used

Why not release Ty-Shon Alexander rather than Moore or Kaminsky? Or would that not help because he's on a 2-way contract?

When Paul gets hurt and misses a week or two in May (or June?), who is going to run our P&R? Moore has done a decent job of that this year.

Correct. We already have our 15 guys on normal contracts.

Booker.

I'm all for losing Moore for Dieng. We're much better equipped to handle a Paul absence than an Ayton one and the Ayton scenario is a lot more likely in-game.

I think Ty-Shon has a future with the team as well.
