Game Day: Suns (28-13) @ Heat (22-21), Tues 3/23/21

Post by Superbone » Tue Mar 23, 2021 6:10 am

Time: 5:00 pm AZ (5:00 pm PT/8:00 pm ET)
Place: AmericanAirlines Arena, Miami, FL
TV: FSAZ/NBALP

The Heat have lost three in a row. This is going to have to be a dogfight if we want to win this one on their home court. Let's go.

Go Suns!!!

Wormwood/Superbone 2019/2020 season bet: Suns win < 30 games, Wormwood wins, else 'Bone wins. 1 month avatar shame starting July 1st of winner's choosing. ACCOMPLISHED! 34 wins in a shortened season! Like it mattered. We rarely see Wormwood anyway!

Nice! We've got the Shel pre-game treatment now! (or should I say, "tweetment"?)

Ha! Just saw there was more relevant stuff out there for this game because of the Crowder-Heat connection. Thought it was interesting about Crowder adjusting to the quick start after the Finals run, and then how FA went down.

Imagine losing Jae Crowder and signing Trevor Ariza to replace him.

Split: I would trade DA for SGA right now(11-24-2020)

Cap: I wouldn’t. Somebody remember to check this post in five years and see which of us looks the fool.

I think this is going to be a battle.

Also, fuck Trevor Ariza.

So many delicious nipples.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. You got dudes like Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, all these 7-footers, doing everything. There's no stopping us. - Ayton

I heard on the radio today that Ariza has been traded more times than any other player in NBA history. I think the number was 11.

Trading for Trevor Ariza is like the equivalent of eating Chinese food. It sounds like a good idea at the time, but you always regret it afterwards.

Chinese food is delightful. Also, Chinese food does not cost $10m/year.

DA just can't not bring the ball down. Even if it's lobbed up and he's led to the rim on the pass, he has to bounce it or bring it down to his knees for a gather.

Stiff defense from the Heat but we're moving the ball well and attacking.

I must be eating at the wrong Chinese food restaurants. My first bowel movement after eating it has been lovingly called “Pandas revenge”.

Ayton is pretty good when he gets to sit in the paint for 5 seconds or more every time...jk
