Game Day: Thunder (20-27) @ Suns (33-14), Fri 4/2/21

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Phoenix Suns Arena, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, NBALP

The Thunder come into town as a different team than we saw before with Horford agreeing not to play and Alexander out. But watch out for Svi Mykhailiuk who has scored 38 points over the past two games. No time for a Suns let down!

Go Suns!!!

Svi and Poku sound like the Balkan Tango and Cash.

Suns better win this damn game.

EDIT: Never mind; he is out with an ankle injury.

I could go for a good old fashioned start to finish beat down tonight. Double digit lead through the first quarter. 20 point lead at the half, lead balloons to 30 and we see Jalen and Ty-Shon most of the 4th Q.

Hmmm lol
Well last game they were missing SGA, Dort, Poku, Jerome and Horford is sitting as we know. They beat the Raptors 113 - 103 with a starting lineup of Moses Brown, Roby, Kendrick Williams, Maledon and Svi who all scored double figures.

We should win by double digits tho but your scenario would be a welcomed sight. We haven't exactly had an easy game in a while

I'm looking forward to watching Pokusevski. What a bizarre and fascinating player he is. Just fun to watch. Looks like Dort and SGA are both out tonight. But we're missing Kaminsky and Nader so it's fair, right??

Theo Maledon
Svi Mykhailiuk
Moses Brown
Isaiah Roby
Kenrich Williams

I hadn't even heard of a single player in their starting lineup. Wow.

This would be a great game to have the starters able to sit the fourth quarter or even the second half because we are up by so many.
Watch it come down to the last possession again. (Can you tell we are so used to a decade of let down it’s hard to let go 😂)

It's crazy how every game lately has followed nearly the exact same game flow.

I wish we had more of a killer instinct sometimes. In a game like this we ought to win by 30 and rest our starters. Yet somehow in games like this we seem to keep the score within about 10 points until the end, and they make it surprisingly close. Go blow these scrubs out!

This would be a good game to give Smith some actual rotation minutes. Just to see what we have. Could pay off down the road.

Or we could get blown out. It's been two months since we had a blowout loss.

I liked Roby coming out of Nebraska. Could be a nice young big worth keeping an eye on.

Another quick start, Paul looks crisp and is looking for his FT line jumper. Thunder don't look like they can physically keep up. Poku looks about 7-1 160lbs out there.
