Booker really forcing it. Worst quarter he's played in a long time.

Why are we giving minutes to Carter in a game like this?

Need someone besides Paul to start hitting shots. Don’t think utah will be this cold all night.

Nice little run. Book and CP3 carrying us. Payne and Cam also giving us nice minutes off the bench. Suns up by 11; Jazz call timeout.

Yea if we can close this quarter well and keep the lead 8+ that would be ideal
Those guys gonna keep jacking up those shots and you will figure some will start to drop

Great block by DA
We're getting lots of deflections and not getting killed on the Offensive boards which is great

What’s going on with Booker? He’s forcing everything. Horrible first quarter for him.

Wish DA blocked Mitchell just now but hesitated as expected thinking about Gobert but wouldn't have been enough time for a pass
Either way excellent half by him

Book calmed down a bit - that 6th turnover was a bit suspect, not really sure if he traveled there. Too many turnovers either way, but still it's pretty nice when your best player has a terrible start but ends up with 16 points on 5-10 from the field and 6-6 from the line. DA looking like he needs to look in the playoffs. I'll take it

Both teams with hot and cold streaks, Book was off most of the half but came on strong. A lot of shots were just rimming out with him and the team, in general. Paul's middy has been a big weapon for us when we need a score.

Cam Johnson with a real good first half, DA starting and ending the half strong. He's been very good on defense, solid on the boards and helpful just keeping balls alive, protecting the rim well and giving us some good minutes. Dario was solid but is a bit small for the Jazz bigs. Payne gave us good minutes on both ends and Cam Johnson's been great on both ends too.

Everyone else - Jae, Mikal, Craig, Carter - not doing too much on offense but playing well defensively which has been enough so far. Ugly game tho, physical and a bar fight like Dario said. We just need to keep guys like Mitchell and Clarkson out of rhythm and stay out on Ingles and Bogdanovich.

We do look a little scared of Rudy...a couple rushed shots...maybe settling for mid range shots too much. Defense has been good, but it looks better because Jazz are missing shots they’d normally hit. Pleased with DA, he’s done well defensively and we haven’t been hurt on the offensive glass. Jazz are a great offensive rebounding team.

Most impressive stat from DA: 0 fouls.

All-in-all, good first half.
Crowder and Bridges do need to get it in gear offensively ... can't expect Paul and Book to totally carry the load.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?

Living in utah, suns finally being good for the first time in 10 years, I don’t think I’ve wanted us to win a game more since 2010 playoffs. Let’s finish this off Suns!

Should have been 38 but still impressive to hold the Jazz to 40 in the first half.

We’ve done it twice now. Only team to do it this year.
