Game Day: Wizards (19-32) @ Suns (36-15), Sat 4/10/21

I like that we're running plays for Cam Johnson. Midrange shots and not just 3s, curls to the basket. He's a guy who can be doing more for us offensively.

Ya, maybe that gets him going. That 3 point shot looks good tonight...last one was called off, but a nice step back 3 from him.

Wow, Cam being used a lot more in the offense tonight

Ayton is settling for jump shots way too much for my liking so far.

Just once I want a play-by-play guy to extrapolate the 2-for-1 possession out to sometime in the middle of a quarter.
"Booker with the quick trigger from three on a 17-for-16 with 8 minutes left in the third quarter."

Crowder hits a 3 to end the half and put us up, 57-55. Kind of an up-and-down half. Our bench has been pretty good, thick has helped keep us in it. Pretty balanced scoring other than Book who has taken a lot of shots. For the Wiz, Neto leads with 14.

Hopefully we come out and bury them in the first 5 minutes of the quarter, but most likely we’ll keep toying with them and turn up the defense for the final 5 minutes to put them away.

This Wiz team is the dangerous nothing-to-lose type with young guys and journeymen (and Russ) that we've had problems with this season. Book and CP with techs and we're still dragging which is letting them hang around. Gotta try and dig in and make a run to open the 3rd.

We just ignoring Neto too much and he’s making us pay

This is exactly how the game started. Suns were focused and making the right play. Brooks called a timeout and everything changed.

It’s weird to me how players forget how to shoot...like Westbrook was never a good shooter but he was ok...now he’s awful.

This is what we needed to start half number 2

Book starting to feel it

Westbrook tries to steal a rebound from his teammate and it goes out of bounds, haha
