There was a lot of talk that people are actively shopping 2nd round picks in the 30s. Maybe we buy one with the money we just saved. Besides, probably a better deal to have 31 than 29.

Gonna miss Jevon ... wish him well.

Could be…maybe James finally realized the guy he wanted would be available 10 picks later

He did absolutely nothing for us in the playoffs, even with Chris Paul hurt. It’s whatever.

Or he will buy a pick in the 30s and then draft a guy that was expected to go undrafted. :)

We don't go 8-0 in the bubble without him, and he helped turn our culture around. I wish him the best. And I hope Landry does something for us in the playoffs next year, because he sure didn't help Brooklyn this year.

They did PAY him.

I like the move. Will probably get more minutes off the bench than Carter did.

I'd hope so. He got 6th-man type minutes in Brooklyn last year. But no way he can keep that up if Payne is back. There just are not enough minutes if Paul, Book and Payne all play similar to last year.

I’d be for limiting CP3’s regular season minutes. I think they’ll be plenty of regular season time for Shamet

In the regular season we really didn't have anyone log heavy minutes. Paul was under 32 per game. Are you saying we cut him down to 26-28 or so?

And are you thinking Shamet is going to play PG? Or Book plays point when he is out there?

2020
Book--34 mpg
Paul--32 mpg
CP15--18mpg

That only leaves 12 for Landry. He played 23 last year.

Ya I think I’d scale CP3 back to like 28 and maybe even lower on back to backs, say 24. I know he’s not a fan of sitting out games when he’s healthy, but I wouldn’t mind if he sat out a game every now and then.

I think we could see some 3 guard lineups as well.

When everyone is healthy and playing, Shamet probably only gets 12-15 minutes, but I’d guess that goes up into the 20-25 range at times.

I think Shamet is a lock for 20mpg if he's healthy, which has been an issue for him.

I'm not excited about the prospect of him being a facilitator. He's probably on the same level as Cam Payne in that aspect. So I think there's still a bench role to be filled in Dario's absence.

Saucy already hates him and he hasn't even been drafted yet.

What are the odds that he's stealing Saucy's wardrobe? Bringing the bell bottoms back.

So Cade is a mix of Lebron, Luka and Khris Middleton... okay.

Congratulations Jalen Green. Now you get to fight Kevin Porter Jr. and John Wall for the ball.
