It's FINALLY here! ( After that loooong offseason.) Suns media day and training camp starts on Monday. Specifically, media day on Monday and camp starting on Tuesday. According to nba.com, the Suns media day will be live streaming starting at 9:30 AM PT:

Great way to start the week. I sure hope he's vaccinated. Does anybody know exactly what "due to health and safety protocols" means? Does that 100% mean he's got Covid? Or could he have violated a rule like went to a nightclub?

He could have had close contact with someone who's been diagnosed with Covid.

I think I read that Booker was vaccinated. So it's likely either a breakthrough infection or contact with potentially infected people / high-risk places that puts him into protocol.

Yeah, I thought I had read that Paul, Ayton, and Book all got jabbed at the same time.

If he is vaccinated, then the only reason he can be out is if he tests positive. That's how we knew CP3 had Covid. At least that's how it was last season.

Does anyone have any sources for these claims? I remember reading the suns were among the more antivaxxed teams but then when cp3 had covid, rumors by media were that he was vaxxed. This whole antivaxx thing really irks me, in part because I’m a healthcare worker.

I'm pretty sure that Book got vaccinated with Ayton & CP3 long ago.

I read that he must be vaccinated because he played in the Olympics.

Considering all the drama between the players union and whether or not players are vaccinated, I can understand players deferring whether or not they've been vaccinated. But I think I remember that Chris Paul got most of the team together and they got vaccinated together... so I thought most of last year's team was fully vaccinated.

It was definitely mentioned last year that Booker got vaccinated..I never heard Booker say it, but when CP3 got covid, some people in the media reported Booker had been vaccinated

It seems like he's always gone back and forth on whether he wants to be a center or a power forward.
