And here is a way to view it without opening the link in a new window. We only have 6 slots left to fill.

I jumped in for a few. If I forget and someone wouldn't mind reminding me, it would be appreciated.

Sup folks, think this might pass for fitting in this thread because it's about the influence of the NBA on College

Seeing the youngsters doing the same running to the 3pt line on 2-1, 3-2 instead of cutting for layups has been no surprise as that basically becoming the norm from AAU up even if you not really a shooter lol.

However this totally surprised me last night. Didn't think I would see College coaches letting players take these Steph/Dame type shots. I don't bat an eye when the NBA guys do it because it's a star driven league and the big $$ guys do some madness when they're ready.
We on this board even lose our mind when Book settles for a long 2 on an end of game Iso so to see that dude take such a shot had me like wow.

I came across this on NBA reddit and it made me laugh. As usual with Charles, he has a funny way of making his point.

https://www.audacy.com/sports/nba/charl ... cs-podcast
"First of all, they (analytics) are just stats. They just gave it a name," Barkley said. "It's kind of like yoga. Yoga's nothing but stretching. They just call it yoga so they can charge more. I tell people, yoga's just stretching. They gave it a different name to charge you for it. The statistics, they change the name — 'We're gonna charge you for analytics now' — and they just raised the price, but it's nothing but stats."

Meh. Not really interested in Bags unless he's released or something.

Picking a side between Luke Walton and Marvin Bagley is like eating soup with a fork.

Related, but Pop seems to have figured out what he has in Thad Young. I don't think we're getting him any time soon. Maybe in buyout season.

Walton is worse. I’m not a huge Bagley guy, but the fact that they’re not playing him is bogus. Why is he even on the team? He’s had his struggles but he’s an insanely talented player. Cut him loose and let him play somewhere. I’m not a fan of players demanding trades, but I think teams holding players hostage is worse. He’s in a contract year, if you’re not going to play him, let him go play for his next deal.
