Nice! Let's do it against our old nemesis.

These Spurs suck. They have four wins, and two of them came against the Magic.

Not saying it can't happen, but it'll be pretty rare for these Suns to lose to bad teams.

Wasn't that like half of our losses last season? And we did lose to Sacramento once, and barely escaped the 2nd game with them.

This year is not last year. These Suns are not those Suns.

They did lose to the Kings once, and then won 13 (and counting) in a row.

And the Kings won on a 3-pointer buzzer beater.

I think it was Raja Bell who I recently heard say that "players only meetings" are for teams who suck.

Maybe they'll play a little better than usual tonight. Or maybe they just suck.

I also didn't realize they've had three days off since their last game, while the Suns are on the second of a back-to-back with travel. That's significant in my book.

It's fun to say that the Spurs suck, isn't it?

Post-traumatic stress, and the Spurs suck.

Offense feels very predictable and lethargic so far, and we can't keep them off the offensive backboard...

Cam J is being aggressive which is nice but he's also missing wide open shots...

Love the chemistry between Payne and McGee. Javale is feeling himself right now.

Still giving up too many offensive rebounds.

Ok I love us giving Ayton the ball on the short roll. Saw a few highlights from the Denver game and just took that Booker pass, dribbled twice and dunked. Not sure why we didn’t do it before, but it seems to push Ayton towards being more offensively aggressive. Keep it up!

Booker just missed the finish on what would have been a spectacular play. Steal by Bridges, save by Bridges to Paul who found Booker on the break. Tough contested finish though.

Booker is a little frustrated. But Shamet showed up today, so that's been great. CP looking for his own offense a bit. Bench energy has been awesome. Ayton is really making his presence felt on both sides of the court. If we can clean up the defensive backboard I'll be super thrilled with this game.

14 points and 9 rebounds for Ayton at halftime (7/10 FG)

Ok so only 1 dribble, but with a pass fake

Tonight’s Ayton is a max version of Ayton for me.

Good half. Started a little slow for both teams but our bench played real well to build the lead. Our starters' legs picked up a bit more in the 2nd qtr so gotta see if they hold up in the 2nd half. Having this much depth is huge tho. Monty's kept it to the main 4 off the bench with either Book or Mikal at the 5th which I think will help Cam Johnson and Shamet get a few more minutes and shots. DA's been very strong inside and improving in that mid paint area. Also better awareness around the rim. He's got 14 and 9, not much the Spurs can do about him.
