I think in the general population, when you are talking about averages over thousands and hundreds of thousands, sure. But with such a small sample size of players in the NBA that get covid at the same time as an unvaccinated player... just a lot of variables and you probably only get this to happen 20-30 times in a year.Superbone wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 1:48 amI’m pretty sure in general it’s been shown that the vaccinated recover faster than the unvaccinated.Flagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Mon Dec 13, 2021 12:54 amOh for sure, I know the rule. I'm curious if there's any correlation between vaccination and the length of time to return two negative tests, and why vaccinated players return negative tests earlier or later than others.Split T wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 11:41 pmI believe the rule is either 10 days or 2 negative tests. Perhaps Rozier had 2 negative tests alreadyFlagrant Fowl wrote: ↑Sun Dec 12, 2021 11:12 pmI'm curious how much or little vaccination is affecting the speed at which infected players are able to return to playing games. The assumption is that vaccinated players are able to return more quickly, but I'd like to see the data.
Apparently the entire Hornets roster has been vaccinated, but Terry Rozier will be available in their next game while LaMelo Ball will remain out. They were infected at the same time.

How funny would it be to see Lebron ship AD out to Philly in exchange for Simmons?

Only guys in New York and San Francisco have to be vaccinated to play…maybe Toronto? They do have stricter restrictions if they are unvaccinated. Believe it was said the nba is 97% vaccinated.

That was the last number I heard, too. But that was for the ~2500 employees, right? Or maybe it as 4500. I haven't seen anything that talked about the players specifically.

I'd be so crushed if I were a Bulls fan, or some exec who worked for the team, and my most prized asset (my players) were recklessly endangering their careers by not getting the vaccine. Honestly if any Suns refused the vaccine I'd want them traded asap.
