They weren’t forced. They chose.
I don't think so. There was talk that the league is forcing teams to bring in G league players if they have guys out (especially due to covid) to force them to play.

And then the Jazz lost again at home. This time to the Wiz.

The Warriors chose to send their better players back to San Francisco and play their lesser players for the Toronto game. The NBA had nothing to do with it.

They chose to rest all their players

Ah, I read something earlier in the day saying that Silver was requiring G-league fill-ins if you fall under 8 players.

Yeah but this was just Kerr deciding he didn’t want to win the last game of their road trip. I can’t imagine Monty doing something like that lol.

We'll be very lucky if we can avoid being affected by this round of Covid. Seems pretty widespread.

It seems like it's a matter of time. I'd bet that within a few days we are hit by it and have several players out due to COVID protocols.

I still can't believe that so many players chose to get the J&J vaccine and haven't gotten any booster. So dumb when literally their careers could be at stake.

We’ve got 100% vaccinated and we haven’t recently played any team that’s being hit by covid at the moment. I wouldn’t expect to see anything from a covid standpoint for us.

Do we know lots of players chose to get J&J and refuse to get boosters?

A little dramatic to say their careers could be at stake, IMo

Agree to disagree. I think that while most players will not suffer long-term consequences to their careers due to COVID, it is an unnecessary and silly risk to take.

I'd like him more if he showed half the amount of respect to his fellow players.
I watched a bit of that game and it was glaring how selfish Beverly's play was. The Wolves won going away, despite him.

I suppose this is a better option for the league and it's media partners. Not sure how many fans are interested in watching bad basketball, but hey, people still go to Magic games..

Further proof that the regular season doesn’t matter. Tho I understand the challenges in moving schedules and venues.

Just gonna use this thread instead of the one for this week

I shared earlier today some whack stuff a youngster did in game but glad to see something actually worth checking popped up on my timeline. This yung fella continues to amaze me, saw him on viral videos then a feature about him on ESPN a while back. Awesome stuff man

That's awesome. I bet he gets half as many fouls called on him. (My apologies in advance.) Seriously though, the kid's got moxie and skills. This is the first I've heard of him. I'm rooting for him.

Obviously it's edited and he did try the Bounce between the legs alley a few times before hitting it but again
Just crazy what he can do
