Portland is in complete disarray and $3M over the luxury Tax. They’re ripe for a poaching.
They're certainly underperforming as a team, but part of that could be from overpaying guys. So what benefit is it to the Suns to take on one of their bad deals?

I don't think Covington or Nance replace Crowder or Cam on the depth chart, so they'd be taking the Frank/Dario role. But why would Portland want Dario who's due the same money as Nance and expires a year later than Covington? Maybe something opens up if they restructure around Lillard, but that feels more like an offseason move for them as they don't even have a real GM right now.

Question is, how far are we from the line? I doubt Sarver will want to give up on the payouts from the over the line teams.

I think we’re good, we didn’t use all of our exceptions and we could have and still stayed under, so we’re at least 7ish million under
My wish list: Nic Batum, Eric Gordon, Larry Nance Jr, Robert Covington, PJ Washington
