I really just hope this doesn’t rob Mikal of his Ironman streak.

That would be the worst way to lose the streak

Man the easy joke was to say someone like Draymond who's in everyone's face will spread it all over but I legit panicked when I saw he's positive.

Might be an interesting few days sigh
I took the L on the Xmas Game Day thread

Anybody else gonna do tonight's ?

Around these parts I'm obviously known for Cam n Mikal being my faves but I would have also rooted hard for Cam P when he signed.

I highlight the turnovers and stuff because I'm hoping he rectifies it and I still believe he has to be pivotal in our success. When I see these stats to confirm what we're noticing during games, it's really a bummer.

Ya, Payne has not been good. Hopefully he gets it going, but he seems to be trying to force the issue too much. Would like to see him calm down a bit. I recall him having a pretty good A/TO ratio in the past, seems like that has not been the case this year.

I brought it up once whether or not we’d be willing to move him for someone like Eric Gordon. I love Payne and doubt it happens, but at this point it’d be hard to justify not making that move if it was on the table.

Cam Payne’s problem is that the league now knows his tendencies and he hasn’t made enough counters. So he is just trying to make the same shot and turning it over. If he wants a a long career or another contract, he needs to develop counters than just driving (right?) to the cup and trying to make himself an acrobat. The bench could stand to help figure out ways to be open for him to play off his committed drives in the paint so he can pass out of it. I hope he studies Tony Parker and just develop more game in the paint and mid range.

Payne needs to develop something in the midrange. If he doesn’t he will find himself out of the rotation by the playoffs if we are serious about a ring.

He’s flashed a mid range pull-up and a floater. I think his biggest issue is he can’t finish with his right.

Well that's the thing about us being a tight knit group who genuinely enjoys being around each other......

Bummer

It was only a matter of time for Suns players to start testing positive. On the bright side(?), the NBA has put in measures to shorten the length of time vaccinated players must sit out.

That and the fact that he almost sits down as he begins his shot motion, so his shot takes much longer and is far easier to defend in the mid range. Floaters it is!

It’s going to hit every team. It sucks. I just hope our guys are ok. Embiid and KAT i think both reported getting very sick.
Saric never seemed the same after he got sick.
