Time: 8:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: "Whatever they're calling it Now Center, Los Angeles, CA
TV: BSAZ/TNT

I've gotten to the point of the season after our start and navigating games without DA and Book that I'm confident knowing we have a quality team. Although or depth and focus seems to want to challenge the notion that there will be letdown games over an 82 game season I would imagine there will be some. All that to say, none of that perspective stuff means @#$% &#@ tonight smh lol. I want to wipe the floor with these dudes

Go Suns !!!

This version of the Lakers is ripe for a stompin'. We could turn this one into a rout. Without AD and with so many other injuries or COVID absences, they aren't very scary.

Even with AD and the others, they weren't very scary. ;)

I hope there is no letdown because of their roster situation. LeBron is playing at a very high level right now.

They're like little bugs on our windshield. Annoying but easily brushed off.

Westbrook lives for these moments, when the team has no choice but to let him freelance.

I'd say Anthony Davis at this point.

With that said, the following quantitative approach to assessing a playmakers ability suggests he's not only not overrated, he's one of the best.

With the Reddit conversation here:

It must surely be a case of lies, damned lies and statistics again as, for me, playmaking must be related to a team's performance (making everyone on the team better, reflected by a higher than expected team W-L record), and in Westbrook's best playmaking year OKC finished 48-34 only and were knocked out in the first round.

Compare that to Kidd's seasons in NJ where he took his team to the finals, and Kidd is not even on that list.

Ehh, no one has thought he’s that good for a long time. If anything he’s underrated now. Most people think he’s garbage and not worth a roster spot. He clearly is and has proven that this year shooting over 40% from 3.

I’m starting to think this too. Sure he’s a top 10 guy when he’s healthy and playing at his best, but that just almost never happens anymore. His offense is fine for a big, but he’s taken a major step back on defense. He hasn’t been that good this year and he’s simply just never healthy. He’s a borderline TJ Warren in that sense(ok not quite that)

Historically? Maybe not, but I think most people rate him pretty properly now.

They should postpone this game. There’s a giant outbreak with covid, the league should be trying to protect the xmas games. What’s the point in watching three Lakers scrubs get clobbered only for one of our guys get covid.

There should be an award like the Razzie for the guy with the biggest gap between talent and on-court production.
