I don’t get that joke. Is it some cultural reference I’m missing? Also don’t get the Noel and Yule ones … I get the pun on Yule but does Yule mean something specific besides sounding like you’ll?
Read the alphabet as written in the post. The letter L is missing, thus noel.

Got it. But why seasons greetings to all but without the L?

When I first saw it, I thought what the heck is Laz doing?! Then, being the puzzle guy that I am, I dutifully sang the ABC song to myself to discover the missing 'L'. And then it dawned on me. Nice one.

A Suns game in less than an hour and no game day thread?
Sorry guys. Doing family stuff. Couldn't even watch the game. So far, so good not knowing the results. Will watch when I get back home on Wednesday. However, I do know that coach, Ayton, and Crowder were out tonight. Somebody please start the Wednesday thread as well when we get there.

Didn't want to make a whole new thread, but, Happy New Year to everyone! 2021 was pretty tough, but there are always reasons to be happy and hopeful.

What was something happy that happened to you or your family this year? For us it was the birth of our 3rd child, Polly, who is now 7 months old and the sweetest baby ever. What about you?

And what is something you're looking forward to in the new year? For me, hopefully watching the Suns make another deep playoffs run. :-)

Happy New Years everyone! Stay safe and I hope we all personally have a great 2022 and our Suns take us to the promised land.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Sorry guys--took a break from my computer for a while. I didn't even work for almost 10 straight days. Longest break I have had in a very long time.

Happy belated hanukkah/xmas/festivus/winter soltice and a wonderful new julian/gregorian year to you all!

I was just thinking that I have 'known' some of you over 20 years and how crazy that sounds!

that probably made it sound bad, but really I am ok. I guess there is a gradation from great to good to well to ok to meh to not great to bad. I am in the meh to ok bucket. But it is a new year, so time to focus on that!
