He was a 10 day Covid addition
My wish list: Nic Batum, Eric Gordon, Larry Nance Jr, Harrison Barnes, PJ Washington, Kenrich Williams, Torrey Craig

I’d suggest starting a new thread.

Sounds like KD will be out for 1-2 months at least. Bummer for the Nets. You have to figure they'll drop down in the East standings quite a ways now.

All-Star Voting has been the same since its inception. It's a popularity contest with the big market teams having a huge advantage.

That’s why I never watch. And never pay attention to the votes.

Lakers lost by 256 points. Wow.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. You got dudes like Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, all these 7-footers, doing everything. There's no stopping us. - Ayton

It used to be a much more competitive game, but now it's become a celebrity All-Star exhibition where nobody puts in much effort.

I hear the Elam ending did interesting things to the game, but the entire event is still a spectacle designed to lure in casual fans and feels almost offensive to my sensibilities as a slightly more serious one. In fact for several years I rooted for our guys to be left out of it so they can take the time to recover and to enter the second half of the season with more hunger.
