Split posted what Zach Lowe had to say about my boy and was no breaking news for me. It's been exactly a month since I posted about his shooting to highlight similar things so figure I would do an update as one of the resident Cam guys :)

Image

So above would have been my post last month and as Lowe says Cam shooting 2/11 and 1/12 from middy and inside the 3pt line is definitely No Bueno. I still can't figure out those numbers but either way fast forward to latest stats

Image

So since then in his last ten games he's only shot 5 times from (10-16ft) making 3 of them and missed the only shot from ((16ft-3pt). It's always interesting peeping the numbers because I thought he was mixing up his game more than that so for 10 games I figured he would have had more attempts. At least he hit some of the few he took. Again as Lowe said something to monitor and Cam just needs to look no further than to his twin and to Book on how to incorporate those more.

Well on to my favourite stat from Cam which to me is even cooler than the 3pt streak and something that really highlights his effectiveness which is where I ticked. (Shooting by Quarter)
Cam shooting % are the highest in the 4th quarter 8-) and as the first image shows he was 30/61 a month ago and currently at 51/94 so my basic maths says that on this last stretch he has gone 21/33 in the 4th. That's a cool 63% shooting 🔥😊💪👍

Excuse the long post and nerding out on the stats but obviously I'm happy with how he continues to grow.

Yeah, but like EJ keeps saying, if he wants playing time, he better learn to embrace and get better at the 4 spot.

That’s a pretty bad comp…doesn’t make you feel great about our scouting folks. Jalen’s best skill is his rebounding which is probably Grant’s worst

Might be time to replace Youtube Dotcom and Syn Ergeesports.

Interesting that EJ was saying that Book doesn't have the blow up games like before because it's more about wins and as others pointed out earlier this season, his usage is low compared to other guys
So still quite an achievement

Those Jordan numbers are insane on their own. Then you think about him playing 3 years of college ball so had 2 less years than Book.

Jordan played 312 games before turning 26 in the nba. Booker is at 444 and will probably end up around 480. Kobe played 561

Interesting stat, but I'd love to see it for all NBA positions too.

Of note: Chris Paul accomplished his 10 assist/0 TOs achievement 1133 games.
John Stockton had four less, but in 1504 games.
Window is open again ... blue skies ahead?
