Go Suns! Dominayton time. They are down their top two centers and have a rookie manning the middle, a rebounding machine, but we have the depth to pound them into the ground.

I'm super interested in this game. The Heat have been excellent overall this year, and I want to get a better look at their team. If course it will be a diminished version, but oh well.

Ayton is playing in this one, right? Great to finally have him back. Stix and Biyombo have been fun, but Ayton is in another league. Hopefully COVID hasn't left him tired or any other lingering effects.

If he gets tired we have plenty of BU.

They've been a couple games this year where we have had to face a team with a star or two out and some second tier guys pushed into bigger roles (especially shooters). Bane would be the most popular name that fits into this category and I felt like we weren't locked into getting into his space and he got way too many looks. Vassell was another I remember where I was like why are we rotating off him but yea either way all that to say, if I can be aware of guys just from highlights and fantasy league I would figure the team would identify certain guys who we need to monitor.

So Max Strus will be that guy for the Heat and some of us on here might go " Who ?!? " which is totally fair lol but I don't want the Suns allow him to get going.

I would hope that the Suns have heard of him. ;)

The Heat are not to be trifled with. They play hard and are coached well.

I hope Cam starts with Ayton. We haven't seen that starting lineup in a long time and I'm hopeful that it can boost the team to another level.

Stix minutes at the 4 next to JaVale. Struss, Herro and Robinson knocking down some 3s. Gotta tighten up a bit on the perimeter. DA and Jae look a half step slow.

Just getting out worked. Suns have no chance at winning this if they don't match the Heat's intensity.

Gross. Suns fans who paid for tickets should get a refund.

Took far too long to get Paul back in the game. Payne was bad on both ends.

Smells like a loss.

Suns getting outplayed, outhustled.
Heat have no center, but Suns aren't exploiting the paint,
Slow defensive rotations and poor perimeter defense.

Oh my god that was awful. That’s about three bad calls I count so far. We aren’t playing well and the deficit isn’t from the officiating, but that was still a really awful call.

Some bullshit. Even if that was a horseshit call, we're letting them look like the fucking Globetrotters. Grow a pair and sack the hell up Suns. Some garbage.

It's these effort games that piss me off.

I’m actually going to blame you for this loss if we lose.

This is an extremely frustrating game to watch but I don’t think it’s an effort issue. We are being thrown off by them launching threes at will and actually hitting them at will. Modern teams seem too used to just doing lazy switches and these Heat players are making us pay with even a smidge of space. Once we finally focus on the three point shooters we then miss cutters and drivers and it’s putting our defense into a mad scramble.

What bothered me more was that for 18 minutes we never bothered to punish them on the other end with our size. Got a little better towards the end of the half when DA got a few shots.

Look for defense to tighten and for the offense to have a bit more rhythm in the second.

Lowry and CP3 have basically the exact same stat line at the half.
