Could be a tough one at the Alamo Monday night on a back-to-back for game four of our five game road trip. The Spurs are waiting while the Suns have to travel back from Detroit. And once again, we'll be without Ayton. Good thing we have a lot of depth at center. The Spurs broke a losing streak when beating the Clippers on Saturday night.

With a win tonight, the Suns would move to 33-9 on the season in what would tie as the team’s second-best start in franchise history through the first 42 games of a season

Following Friday’s win, Monty Williams’ career winning percentage as head coach moved to an even .500 (290-290) after entering this season with a career 258-281 record as a head coach

Devin Booker scored 22 of his 35 points in the third quarter Friday night, the 16th 20+ point quarter of his career, which is the fourth-most in the NBA since he was drafted

Holding the Raptors to 94 points Friday, the Suns moved to 16-0 on the season when holding their opponent to fewer than 100 points and 28-0 when opponents score fewer than 110

Deandre Ayton scored 21 of his 27 points in the first half Friday night, his third 20+ point half of his career and first time doing so since Feb. 22, 2020 (2nd Half).

Listed as questionable, and Ayton is not on the injury report.

Ayton is listed as out with a right ankle sprain, Johnson is probable.

I wouldn't expect Ayton to play through much this season since he doesn't have an extension. Even minor ankle pains or any bruises, he'll probably sit out.

I think it is more the training staff than Ayton. I mean Cam sat out a week with an ankle sprain despite playing 1-1 in practice. There just isn't a reason to rush anyone back when you have competent back ups and are leading the league in wins.

Where did you get that? The media guide doesn't match for today's game, and NBA.com doesn't have that info listed yet. (not questioning the validity, I just want to update my sources for this info)

Quiet tonight. I don't suppose it's related to the Cards playing at the same time?

The who?

Book on fire to start - 18 points in the 1st on 7-10 shooting. Spurs starters were hot tho so they had the lead for most of the qtr until the bench came in. Bismack looks better than JaVale in this one so far. Cam Johnson looks good coming back from the ankle injury.

Spurs keeping it close with some good defense. Book with 25 of the Suns 59 points at half. Spurs are much more spread out offensively. Poeltl is a handful inside so far. Murray really is Westbrook-lite. Spurs are tough to defend with all of their movement.

Payne and Crowder came on in the 2nd to give a bit more offense but it's been the Book show.

More people will start watching this game.
The Cards are dead. Rams having Redbird wings tonight ... :P

Biyombo looked good during his stint. Booker had a sizzling first quarter.
