Didn't realize this
I remember him getting a DNP when Ayton, JaVale came out of protocols and we lost that game

Bridges over Mitchell? Fine with me

I'm guessing he thinks Mitchell is still injured for the game, because why wouldn't you just slide Bridges to the forward spot and give the wildcard to Mitchell?

Or just punishing the Jazz for how bad they’ve been recently. They’ve been in a free fall and maybe don’t deserve 2 all-stars

In reference to the Steph decline, I’m not sure if it’s a slump, injury, decline, but I think CP3 has passed him and is having the better season.

I love me some Mikal Bridges, but there is no way they pick him to the All-Star team.

This is impressive. And here is a look at the +/- leaderboard for NBA clutch time below:

Quick summary
  • PHX owns top 4 spots, and 5 of top 10 with our preferred starting lineup owning those 5 spots
  • Of the 14 Suns that have played in Clutch Time, 9 are a more than +1/minute.
  • Only 2 players are a negative in the Clutch--Javale is more than -1/minute :? (Nader has played less than 30 seconds)
  • Not in the table below, but
*Book is shooting 66/54/53  @ that FT%
    *CP3 is shooting 56/29/82
    *DA is shooting 91/--/100 :!:

Code: Select all

  #1-Paul +81 in 69 minutes
  #2-Mikal +68 in 60 minutes
  #3-Jae +57 in 56 minutes
  #4-Book +56 in 53 minutes
 #10-Ayton +38 in 41 minutes
 #16-CamJ +34 in 30 minutes
 #47-Bizzy +20 in 6 minutes
 #75-Frank +13 in 7 minutes
 #86-Shamet +11 in 4 minutes
 #96-Ish +9 in 5 minutes
#141-Jalen +4 in 4 minutes
#153-CP15 +3 in 13 minutes
#228-Nader -2 in 0 minutes
#316-Javale -7 in 5 minutes

Adding to the clutch stats talk, we have the top offensive rating in the clutch at 135 points per 100 possessions and now the top defensive rating in the clutch at 90 points allowed per 100 possessions. Our net rating in the clutch is 44.7, second best is Washington at 22.6, so we are twice as good in the clutch as the next best team.

I don’t remember if I posted it here, but I looked up the clutch stats a week or so ago and we are on pace to have the highest clutch net rating since it’s been tracked. Currently the 08-09 Cavs have the best ever rating at 34.2, the 15-16 Warriors were 34.1 and are the only other team above 30.

Data goes back to 96-97

*DA is shooting 91/--/100 :!:[/list]

Adding this to the Clutch stats:

66 players have taken at least 25 shots
* Book leads FG% at 65.5% (next closest is Giannis at 60.0%)

68 players have taken at least 10 3PAs
* Book is 4th in 3PA% at 53.8% (only other Sun that has taken at least 10 is Crowder and he is shooting 40% on them)

62 players have played in at least 10 games w/Clutch time and have more than 10 assists per 100 possessions
* Paul is #1 with 15.1 (next closest is 12.0)
