Weird strategy at the end there by the Bulls.

Who was the decent player wearing Payton's uniform?

I’m still in the 2nd quarter but EP having one of his better games. And now we just went up by 21 with 6 min left in the half.

I have always kind of defended Payton on this forum and he did have a decent performance today. But I have to say it wasn’t so much him playing well as the Bulls’ defense just sucking.

Also their offense felt kind of stagnant. DeRozan and LaVine are special talents but it didn’t feel like they made the most of any of their lesser talents on that end of the court.

The Bulls are all about LaVine and DeRozan taking turns going one on one. Not a good recipe for long term success.

Payton had a nice pass to Mikal cutting down the lane on the break. I wonder why we went back to Smith after going with Ish a few games back. I don't think it's a matchup thing.
Maybe the E'twaun/Jevon you get a few games, then you get a few games thing from last year ? 🤷🏾‍♂️

The trade deadline is Thursday. I expected to see a little more Smith than we did actually.
Go Suns!

The guys talk about it on the broadcast alot and the smart guys on Twitter have also but DA jump hook is $$$$ though.
EJ even reference Kevin Willis last night and remembering that dude made me chuckle

Book was filthy and that's great to see as I been more thinking about the task at hand tonight and remember that Book has gone off in Philly a couple times

Cam J with a quiet game, only 8 shots which will happen sometimes when he's coming off the bench. Felt like he missed couple wide open 3s which bums me out at the moment as it's still all about All Star Saturday 🤐

Mikal was cruising along, thought another 20pt game was a lock but he's for sure in a good rhythm and showing different stuff almost every night. Homecoming game tonight so looking forward to how he plays

This current iteration of the Bulls isn't their real identity. They're a much better and balanced team with Lonzo Ball and Caruso healthy.

Hate that the score was so close at the end given it was a blowout for about 45 minutes of the game. The refs were awful and there have been a few games around the league where the entire crew has an off night and makes bad calls (Cavs-Hornets last week). Glad we were able to play thru it and luckily have some quality depth behind DA as he was in foul trouble most of the night.

DD was unstoppable. We were playing pretty good defense but he's just a pure scorer. Lavine had 32 but didn't really feel impactful IMO. No one else, especially Vuc, was a threat. Still not sure how they made it so close and scored 124. We should've closed out the 4th better.

We had a 15 point lead with 2 minutes left when the bulls put in their bench. They had 2 guys play 2 minutes that were a +12…both teams had stopped trying and they scored a bunch of garbage buckets.

What was it again about the Suns not having anybody who struck fear in the heart of the opponents? Seems to me we have an assassin who can go off for 38 points on any given night.

Bunch of soft points. Nothing scary. Just another guy on our roster that can get punked. Same non-scary Suns that looked intimidated and punked last playoffs against the Lakers, Nuggets and Clippers.

Great analysis Shaq-FU (and a BIG FU to you Shaq).

Those refs were so frustrating. Should have been up by 30 the whole game, but it felt like the refs were purposely trying to keep this game close. There must have been at least a dozen obviously bad calls, and it made the game frustrating. That being said, I wish Monty would leave the guys, that ended game on the floor, in Chicago. How the heck do you give up a 12-0 run to end the game, in like the last 90 seconds?

The starters gave up the first 4. Seemed like fairly bogus foul calls…it’s what made me think maybe the refs had money on the bulls to cover(not really, but why call ticky tack fouls in garbage time?)

Would it be surprising if the mob was able to get to some of these refs? I'm not saying they did, but would it be surprising?
