I was just coming to post that Booker is having a brutal game, and then he hits 4 in a row.

That challenge was unsuccessful? What the fuck? That’s two straight bad calls on JaVale.

He's having a very good game by his typical standard.

9 players in double figures and McGee almost made it 10

Wow. Craig had 14 and Holiday had 10 in limited minutes. We have 2 more legit rotation guys and a nasty platoon of wings who can all defend and hit 3s. I really really like this roster. Great balanced game and win.

The starters got the job done.

The new and improved bench held the lead. I am looking forward to them earning Monty’s trust and cutting back on starters minutes.

Craig looks like he never left and played great.

Holiday was a little out of control and threw some crazy passes but hit some shots.

The Suns are a bad ass team. I hope you all are enjoying this season as much as I am.

Hit both shots from the arc and had 9 assists.
He's not artful, but he got it done... ;)

He had 10 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds tonight. I think this was one of his best games as a Sun actually and that he did a fine job as backup PG. In general he's been bad but lately it's been a bit better and especially so tonight.

Suns postgame pavilion tonight.

What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

I’ve been maybe the staunchest Payton supporter on this board, and I’m glad to see him being aggressive. That stat line is nice and welcomed, especially with Holiday on his tail.

Having said that, I have to say, Payton is the exact opposite of a 3 (4 if you count free throws) level scorer. He has no outside shot to speak of, doesn’t have the explosiveness to play above the rim and lacks the creativity to finish around bigger players, and plainly bricked several wide open free throw line jumpers today, along with his two missed free throws. He’s getting some rhythm on that little runner in the lane but that’s about the only shot I feel somewhat okay with him taking.

Again I’m rooting for the guy. Hope he gets an anchor to his offense in that runner and develops more confidence.

Here’s a somewhat serious question. Watched the Laker game for a bit before ours started and saw a swing swing swing to open man situation where ball got to Russ and the defense clearly caught its breath. Would anybody on this board prefer Russ over Payton assuming there’s no luxury tax implications? Meaning comparing the two guys purely based on their skills and personalities.
