I HATE when McGee tries to dribble and be a guard. He needs to know his role. That was terrible.

It's a shame this version of Ayton came to the game tonight.
Glad I'm not the only one that noticed that the Suns' centers were a weak spot.
Ayton hesitated on plays and got the ball stripped numerous times -- 5 TOs
McGee looked a step or two slow at times on D.

Was wondering why Biyombo didn't play.

Crowder had a solid game: 17 pts. 5 rbs. 4 assts and 4 steals.

Booker with 6 steals to go along with 25 pts and 12 assts.

Booker was a stud muffin in the 4th.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Grizzlies lose so the Suns are now 8 1/2 up on them. Let's hope Portland continues their hot streak against Golden State tonight.

Holiday is fitting in real well. Hope he hangs on to that spot when Cam P comes back as well- just seems like a more steadying presence with a more reliable J

That was ridiculous. He has PJ Tucker syndrome.

I’m still at the end of the first quarter but Book is being TOO unselfish.

Just finished the game. Clearly an emphasis on jumping passing lanes tonight. Some carelessness by young Thunder ball handlers, but we also were very aggressive going for steals. Defense seemed a little off at times, left some Thunder players unguarded on cuts a few times. I’ll chalk that up to we haven’t played in a week+.

Thought this might’ve been the worst I’ve seen Ayton and McGee play all year. Hard to describe how bad they were. Thunder did pack it in against them to not let them get going and I think it took both out of the game. Ayton was really bad catching passes today. Maybe it’s him being used to CP3, but I hope it was just rust and the extra pressure OKC was putting on his rolls. Javale tried to do too much when he wasn’t getting his bunnies inside. Javale seemed out of place defensively too as he got beat a lot. A lot of shots be usually blocks were layups. He also fell over a couple times. Hopefully just rust. Thought we could’ve gone to Biyombo or even Craig at the 5 lineups tonight. OKC doesn’t play big.

Book, Cam, Bridges, Crowder, and Holiday we’re all fantastic. Craig was fine but didn’t hit his shots. Shamet was ok, knocked down a couple 3s and played tough defense. I think I’ve seen enough to want Holiday ahead of Shamet in the rotation. At least give him an extended run. I think we still need Payne as Holiday doesn’t put pressure on the rim as a primary ball handler, but I like Holiday as an off ball guard who can create some next to another playmaker. Honestly he’s great next to Book. Need Payne for the non-Book minutes.

Defense picked up when we needed too and of course we still crushed them in the end. Lead was 5 with 4 minutes left and we won by 20. Does this count as a clutch win? It was within 5 at one point in the final 5 minutes, so I’d think yes? Hard to fault us for being too good in the clutch and taking away a clutch win. Haha.

Book was phenomenal down the stretch. Honestly played flawless after coming back in with 6ish minutes to go. 25/12/6/5 on 9/16 shooting is about as good as we can ask for. He did have 4 turnovers, but I’d guess at least 2 of those were on passes Ayton should have caught. Need those 2 to develop some major chemistry down the stretch.

Without anything close to a center playing against him Ayton struggled. These are the games that are most frustrating.

McGee really struggled. I love me some JaVale but he didn’t have it tonight. Would have rather seen Biyombo in the second half.

I don’t know how irrelevant Shamet can be at this point. Dude’s not even an NBA player at this point. No idea what happened with his shit in the past year. Dude has no confidence and shoots it flat ever time.

Thought he played better as of late but If you aren’t going to play Elfrid in this game might as well cut him and get someone else.

Booker did ok as a facilitator but his offense suffered as expected.

I’m not sure how OKC is supposed to get better each year with the enormous amount of turnover they will inevitably have to have with all the draft picks. It’s already apparentl GIddy and Shai don’t mesh well together

Also it’s worth nothing the Thunder announcers claimed that the “Thunder took the Suns down to the wire.” Umm what?
