Blazers' Damian Lillard (abdominal surgery) 'progressing' in rehab protocol

Reeling Lakers met with boos at home as Russell Westbrook says opponents' scouting report to 'just play harder than them' is working
Hate to see it...

NBA Power Rankings, Week 20: Philadelphia 76ers, Memphis Grizzlies and Brooklyn Nets impress over the weekend
1. Phoenix Suns
2021-22 record: 49-12
Previous ranking: 1

For only the third time all season, the Suns dropped consecutive games, with losses to the Pelicans and Jazz. Of course, both of those defeats came without point guard Chris Paul, who is out with an avulsion fracture in his right thumb. With Paul sidelined, Suns guard Devin Booker has gotten back to his playmaking ways, averaging eight assists since the All-Star break, including 12 against Oklahoma City on Thursday. Those were the most Booker has had in a game since Paul joined the Suns last season. -- Lopez

I just don’t get it…Jordan hasn’t been a useful nba player in like 3 years?

It gets worse, they’d be willing to spend 13-16 million on him?

Ja had 50 with a couple of minutes left and Memphis rolled the ball up the court to preserve clock to get him more points despite being up by 12.

He's been so good that Dejounte Murray had himself ejected.

The clock was running the whole time, they were draining the clock…a very CP3 like move to waste more time as the shot clock never started

Not for the team that drafted him.

Jalen was playing well again last night (not too surprised) basically having 14 n 8 at HT
Then argued an offensive foul early 3rd, got T'd up....
Stayed arguing and got tossed. "No emotion Jalen" lol (yes surprised)

We blew it with Jalen Smith. He's a legit NBA player. We should have been able to develop him.

Clearly the two bad moves last summer were not picking up the option on Smith and trading so much for SHamet and extending his contract.

Luckily they had plenty of good moves to counter them (McGee, Biyombo, Holiday, Craig)

Since the trade:

Craig 4-19 on 3s
Smith 10-21 on 3s

Stix was never not a legit NBA player with talent. We misjudged the talent when we drafted him and then didn't put him in a position to succeed which made him look bad. But with where we are as a team (competing for a title), we just didn't have a role for him as a backup 5. Craig may serve us better, even if he's a lesser overall talent. He needed to go to a younger team where he'd get the minutes and the chance to play thru mistakes.

Still a fan of him, but as a 33yr old smaller scoring guard the odds probably aren't in his favor.

No, but the ball sure has.

In his 114 minutes this season, only 10 assists, but took 47 shots. I know he is a scoring PG, but that isn't going to be helpful to get a contract. Especially when his shooting splits are 32/20/73.
