There ya go
Much better close to the 2nd quarter.

Still a little bummed about not featuring DA but we're sticking to our system and keeping the ball moving, creating for others
So can't really complain too much with the results because everyone contributing who been on the court

Start Shamet, maybe some extra playing time can get him in rhythm
Trying to figure out what scenario he has to be in to have success in a Suns uniform. He's played in just about everyone possible. Starter, 6th man, mop up minutes, facilitator, scorer. He just hasn't had much success in any role.

Ayton leaves a lot to be desired this game. He should be DominAyton but he's more closer to Aiyn'ton. Hasn't played poorly but his man is 9 and 7 on 4-4 shooting. Unacceptable to me. Has had mental lapses. Just hoped he would come out and be the man with Book and CP out

This game is exhibit A in why you can’t max Ayton. He should be dominating this game. You want to be one of our big 3 well 2 of them are gone you need to play like it. He hasn’t. He has not been terrible but he doesn’t scream max guy when you watch him either. I’m disappointed. I would rather spend the money on another scorer at the wing.

I actually think Ayton is playing really well this game, even though I don't think many if these plays are being run explicitly for him. And I feel Eubanks is mostly having a good game because he's taking advantage of blown defensive schemes and Ayton is helping off of him.

DA isn't getting touches....
This is different to times when he frustrated by playing timid

Just my opinion
His stat line looks better because the guys got him some lobs this quarter (which is the usual/only way guys comfortably find him) but we not featuring the guy. Honestly they are missing him on his rim runs too

He does have 18 points on 9/12 shooting, 8 rebounds, and only 1 TO. He's having a nice game.

Bridges and Cam Johnson both playing well, too. They have had nice chemistry. Cam is getting better and better at his handle and driving to the basket.

Cam Payne is shooting only 2/8 but has 8 assists.

On the Blazers, I really like Eubanks. He's got a nose for the ball and he keeps getting nice garbage plays and putbacks.

Mike Breen and RJ have talked about it all game but cool to see "the others" move the ball and rack up the dimes
As they rightfully say, the majority of NBA teams just pound the ball and are iso-centric so I enjoyed the game

Some of everyone got to see the ball going through the hoop

I’m behind, but my goodness the refs called a lot of ticky tack fouls in the 2nd Q…hope that cleans up

Great for the final three quarters (91-62)

Ayton - 18 pts, 8 reb in 26 minutes
Johnson - 20 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast in 24 minutes

6 players in double figures, rebounding edge (46-35), 32 ast on 40 FG, Portland shoots 38.6%

Good win all-around for the Suns

50 points on 23 shots for Crowder/Bridges/Johnson…we will win the title if we get these versions in the playoffs.

I’m pretty excited for the next few games to see what they can do.

Payne was rusty with his shot, but we looked better with him out there. I think he’s pretty important for our offense and just does stuff that no one besides CP3 and Book do. I think we will do very well once Payne and Book are both playing. He’ll keep teams from being able to trap Book. Holiday just isn’t quite a pg in that sense. He’s a secondary guy to me.

Really impressed with the team tonight, we hit our 3s and that really opened up the game for Ayton and was nice to see us find him a lot in the 3rd for easy buckets. I’m feeling good about 63 wins and the franchise record.

I’m hoping Shel can find some of Al’s 50 year celebration. ESPN mentioned it once and that was about it.

It was awesome having them showcase Al so much during the game. Having Payne back was a big upgrade. Peyton back to playing garbage minutes, thank you. Holiday still isn’t a pg. Way too many turnovers. I really like Aytons shot nowadays. As soon as he gets the ball he’s going up for the shot. Zero hesitation or pump fakes. As soon as it touches his hands he’s going up for the shot and it’s almost automatic.

Caught a replay of this one. Simons and Hart were the only real NBA guys on the Blazers tonight, so I stopped watching early in the 4th quarter.

Ayton played well in the first quarter, just missed a couple of shots in his usual rhythm. He some dumb shit in the second quarter like pass out of a mismatch 5-feet from the rim followed by a 3 second violation. Early lob dunks in the 3rd had him more engaged early in the second half when the Suns essentially put them away. He bit on several fakes on the defensive side, one time embarrassingly by a fringe NBA guy.

Rough game for Holiday with 4 pretty ugly turnovers. Much like Shamet, he's having a hard time finding a rhythm or he's just not that good. I'm not selling on him yet, but I thought I'd be more comfortable with his ballhandling and playmaking than I am so far.

Cam Johnson's little step back hop 3 pointer from the top of the key was interesting, but it's still hard to really believe it in a game like this one. Still another great game of him showing off some developed skills.
