Much to like. Suns thrashed the Heat on the boards.
Adebayo had a quiet 17 with just 6 boards as Ayton and McGee kept him occupied.

After Robinson had a hot start, the Suns fed Bridges to cool Robinson (who couldn't guard Mikal).
Herro shot well, then the Suns double-teamed him to knock him off his game.

Great, great win. Very impressive.
It was a scrappy, playoff style game and we took care of business. Love it!

Very impressive win.
Even with Booker, I thought this could be a loss.
Instead, the Heat looked like they were playing the second of a back-to-back ... really faded in the second half.

I can’t believe the Suns are ahead after the 3rd quarter. Wait, yes I can. Suns thoroughly outplay the Heat in that quarter. Let’s finish this!

Odd trivia: Phoenix allowed 25 points in the first six minutes, a season worst for that span. The Suns then allowed only two points in the next six minutes, a season best for that span...

Most of the game summaries quickly mention the Heat were playing without Butler ... while either burying low in the story the Suns were without Paul and not mentioning Cam Johnson was also out ...

Really impressive win. So proud of this team. I did in fact eat my words where I said I was worried about Book throwing off our offensive rhythm. He was great. Bridges had a strong game with 21 and 9. I though JaVale was playing great early but then he started taking dumb shots and ended up 5-13. Didn't get much offense from the bench tonight though. And I didn't like how many open 3s we gave them. But I thought we did a good job bothering them with our size. Have we beaten every team in the league now this season?

It was driving me bonkers! All the ESPN talking heads kept mentioning it over and over with nary a mention of Paul and Johnson out! Idiots.

I live in downtown Brooklyn but was spending time about 30 minutes north of Miami for the past 2 weeks. I booked my flight last week to come back today not realizing they were playing the Heat. Thought about switching the flight over the weekend but with CP and Book still out, then Cam getting hurt on Sunday, I was kinda meh on it. Would've been hit with cancellation fees if I tried changing flights last night when they said he'd be playing. If we had the full squad I definitely would've been there.
Ah, got it. For some reason I thought you lived in the outskirts of Brooklyn instead of right in the middle of it. I have never even been to Brooklyn--seems I spend all my time in NYC around Manhattan.
If you've been to Manhattan even once and haven't visited Shel, SHAME on you!
I'll take that L. Next time, Shel!
