Suns News: Week 22 (3/14 - 3/20)
Re: Suns News: Week 22 (3/14 - 3/20)
Ya I don’t think we will either…though I think it would be cool to have single digit losses on the road and at home…let’s go 32-9 on both and finish 64-18!
Re: Suns News: Week 22 (3/14 - 3/20)
We need 8 wins now to set our single season franchise record. 7 after tonight. (Sorry, this team is too good to jinx.)

Fun fact, with our 8 game lead over 2nd place Memphis, we are actually closer to clinching the 1 seed than they are to clinching a playoff spot as Minny is 7.5 games behind them. Miami as the 1 seed is 6.5 games ahead of Toronto in the East. So at current paces we would clinch the 1 seed before any other team in the nba clinches a playoff spot.

Split, you've been bringing your A+ game with these stats lately. Love it!Split T wrote: ↑Wed Mar 16, 2022 9:48 pmFun fact, with our 8 game lead over 2nd place Memphis, we are actually closer to clinching the 1 seed than they are to clinching a playoff spot as Minny is 7.5 games behind them. Interesting stuff
The efficiency is awesome, is Book just so comfortable on the pull-up he doesn't bother going all the way or he chooses not to even try draw fouls by getting all the way to the rim ?
This makes for a good debate because as EJ always say FTs is very important come playoffs time. As brilliant as those percentages are, Book still needs more FTA
I say this but he still avging like what 28ppg regardless.....

I feel like we have been talking about that all season. But sometimes I mix up what we talk about here vs twitter.
I'd like to think it is a choice that Book and Paul don't take too many shots at the rim because they are more likely to get hurt and expend energy doing it.

I think he's also not getting a lot of calls that he used to - specifically that one where he leans into contact on the move about 10-15-feet out on the wing and then throws it at the basket. He used to get free throws for that shot all the time and barely has this season. He hasn't adjusted to the rule changes as well as some other players so he's probably modified his game as a result. It's not the greatest sign that he barely gets to the line anymore. He used to be our one consistent source for free throws.
Re: Suns News: Week 22 (3/14 - 3/20)
Yeah he is taking 8% more FGAs than last year, but getting 19% less FTAs. That is a really bad sign.Shabazz wrote: ↑Fri Mar 18, 2022 10:34 amI think he's also not getting a lot of calls that he used to - specifically that one where he leans into contact on the move about 10-15-feet out on the wing and then throws it at the basket. But he is scoring basically the same on the same minutes, and his ORtg is up slightly from last year, and his DRtg is down significantly (which means better) than last year. I think I prefer this version of Booker to last year's, but I would love to have the best of both worlds.

To think our bench 5 of McGee, Cam J, Cam P, Craig and Shamet (all have started for us at one point this season) would be a competitive starting 5 for another team. We are deep.

This has been a magical season. I’m not ready for the fairy tale to end.

There's been some "Yea this is cool and all" but "it doesn't matter if we don't win the Chip"
Maybe just trolls on Suns tweets or maybe some fans actually not enjoying the Journey as Monty would say
Either way this was posted this in response....
