What sorcery is this ?!? 😂😂

Instead of "RARE", Melo's tattoo should be photoshopped to say, "MID" or "AVERAGE".

Well.....
Don't think I need to encourage anyone to read this
And here it is:
Come summer, I was a restricted free agent — and I’ll put it this way: I don’t think anyone was surprised that I wanted a bigger role. With Shawn, Amar’e and Steve, they was all gonna be All-Stars for a while. That was understood. So if I was gonna take the next step as a player, I knew I needed to find a place where I could have those types of expectations.

Atlanta made an offer, and let it be known they wanted me to be that guy. I asked Phoenix not to match. Sarver wasn’t about to let me walk for nothing, though, so they worked out a sign-and-trade.

Was it tough leaving? Yeah, man, it was. But I believed in my abilities. And I wanted to play for an organization that believed in me the same amount.
Honestly makes me feel better about it. JJ really wanted to be the man and have a role that he couldn't have with Nash/Amare/Matrix. I had read that at the time but now the man himself verifies it.
He could've won a ring here first before wanting that.
It probably means the difference of 50M over the course of his career. I know I would prefer he stayed (and Sarver would have maxed him), but as a profession that only pays you for 10 years if you are lucky, you probably need to take your shot when you get it.

It was a selfish comment I made for the entire fan base of the organization. I'm aware he would have lost money if he stayed for that extra year.

I never even heard of the term mid until last week but sure. I'm sure Lamelo would go for it. ;)

Tyler Herro is a really nice player. But I don't know if you can max a guy like that, even if you eventually plan to slide him into the starting lineup. It's too bad he isn't amenable to a more reasonable number like $20-25m / year. Wonder if the Heat are going to have to try to move him now.

If we’ve reached the point where Tyler Herro is a max guy, we need to adjust the max…it’s just crazy that Tyler Herro and Ja Morant could be signing the same deal…though I guess Ja will get the all-nba bonus, but still…they shouldn’t be close.

Ayton is much more of a max guy if you ask me and I don't know that Ayton should get the max. But like anything else financial, it comes down to supply and demand, right?

Lebron passed Karl Malone in career points scored. A huge accomplishment.

So Lebron as around 36900 points scored while Kareem has around 38300. So Lebron is behind by around 1400 career points. Napkin math says that if Lebron played one more session and played 82 games, he would need to score around 17-18 ppg to pass the record.

Seems like he's going to do it. That's amazing.

He's gonna get 40k before he retires.

Add 8 more years to Jordan’s career and he would be at 45k. It’s about longevity. Jordan played 3 years in college, retired for 2 years, and then retired for 3 more before playing 2 years in Washington.

Yep, Lebron has elite longevity.

Before his career is over, he will likely be:

#1 in scoring (with a higher efficiency (TS%) than any of the top 20 guys besides Kareem)
>10k assists (top 5 all time) and rebounds
>2k steals (top 10 all time)

It is just crazy he has been able to be so good for so long.

Yeah, I still don't think that makes him the GOAT. But his career stats are going to be pretty staggering. He has clearly been investing heavily in training and conditioning his body to keep him healthy and on the floor as much as possible. And it's paying off.

I'm not impressed. He's only doing it for the record now. He's no longer interested in defense. He's no longer interested in playing for his teammates. It's now all about those points.

I don't condone Nurk's actions, but I get it. Fans gotta learn. And is that kid like 16 years old holding a beer?

He asked for a picture. What’s the big deal? Dick move by Nurkic. A simple no and keep walking would have been sufficient. I guess that’s how you treat fans. 🙄

I'll walk back a bit without knowing the full situation but it was being said that the kid/guy was saying some rude things to the Nurk/the Blazers.

Had to be, right? He wouldn't do that just for a pic request I would hope.
