Game Day: Bulls (41-28) @ Suns (56-14), Fri 3/18/22

Post by Superbone »

Time: 7:00 pm AZ (7:00 pm PT/10:00 pm ET)
Place: Footprint Center, Phoenix, AZ
TV: BSAZ, NBATV

The Bulls have lost 7 of their last 9. This is the last stop of their road trip on which they're 0-2. Still, they have some talented players and we can't take them lightly. Cam Johnson still out for eighth straight game.

It is crazy to me that Cam Johnson is going to miss at least two weeks of basketball for a bruise.

Listen to Crowder in the news thread to understand it a little better.

Have you ever had one? They are crazy painful just to walk for days and days afterward. Now imagine a 280 pound guy kneeing you with full force in the middle front thigh.

Stan Van Gundy: I think even Cam Payne is out tonight, Phoenix is really going to have to rely on Holiday and Elfrid Payton.

*Cam Payne front and center on the screen, obviously going to play.*

Ayton’s growth this season has been so damn impressive. His midrange shot went from a eye roll to me being surprised when he misses.

Missed the game but came here for the recap and it seems I’m not the only one who missed it, haha

Suns looked great.
Bulls were competitive for about a quarter and a half.
DeRozan was off and LaVine still looks like he's hurting.
Suns were up by as much as 34 in the fourth ... no comebacks in this game.

I suspect Chris Paul is coming back soon. I thought they were going to sit him until the playoffs began but it looks like he's going to try and get back out there before the playoffs.

Seven Suns in double figures, with an eighth (Holiday) with 9.
Great balance.

I saw this too. I think he meant Cam Johnson.

I remember all the passes to him in the paint that he bobbled and ended up turnovers when he came here. Now he is catching just about everything and his shooting is off the charts. He and McGee are very intimidating around the rim.

The entire team is just so freaking good and loaded. I am really trying to enjoy the ride because I know it doesn’t last forever.
