LOL. Hey, at least Zhaire Smith is working out well for them. Wait...
Poor Zhaire Smith, he had a rough start to his professional career. I think he's rehabbing a knee injury currently, but I wouldn't mind taking a look at him on our Summer League team in the future. I honestly thought he had a lot of potential, even though I always thought Bridges was the better player and was really happy when we made the trade for him.

He looks quick in those clips…
Here he is after practice:

He doesn't get much elevation on his three point shot and does a weird little kick out with his right foot at the end. His form looks good at the top though. We'll have to see how it looks when the defender is closing out on him.
The quick first step is something, and he finished at the rim pretty comfortably against Wainwright who might have 20lbs and 3 inches on him.
I have a hard time believing he'll crack the rotation in the playoffs, so hopefully he'll get some run in the next two weeks.

Ok
I never imagined him playing, for sure not in the playoffs. I just think it's great move for him to come over now and get acclimated. Then he's gonna really get the opportunity next season after being settled, accustomed to terminology and so on

Ya I don’t really think the Iffe signing had anything to do with the playoffs. I think it’s a trial run and maybe he makes the 15-man roster next year. He could take the Holiday or Payton spot. Both are on expiring contracts.

Yup
I think that's a pretty awesome situation for him
You get to join the best team and main contender for last month of season and playoff run. Mainly be part of practice, put in extra work with the assistant coaches and get to understand our culture. As they say, it's one thing to try to imagine and simulate what it would be like but these months of experience will be great for him
If he really has some potential to build on, he couldn't have asked for a better situation to go into next season. Joining in the summer would have been a huge difference

Guess I wasn't paying attention properly to the game highlights which were posted
Didn't realize he played for a Russian team
