Those graphs are super interesting. Some teams like CHI, CLE, GSW, UTA, WAS showed noticeable drop as the season went on. Others like BOS, DAL, MEM, MIN, NOP, TOR righted the ship and finished the season strong. Our graph is steady as they come, landing at a super high spot and staying flat there all year. Very impressive stability and consistency for us this year.

Glad Gentry's out of that mess in Sacramento. He deserves better. Lakers made their beds, now they get to sleep in it. Hopefully Rambis takes over!

If an assistant spot opened up and he was willing to take it, I'd love Gentry back here. I met him once at the Summer League in Las Vegas years ago as we had parked very close to each other coincidentally and I had on my Suns jersey. Super nice guy.

Reports are he’s stepping into a front office role with Sacramento

Is that just a way for the Kings to not pay him next year for nothing?

Could be. Could also be somewhat mutual between the parties - maybe Gentry doesn't really want to spend another year as head coach to this group of players, but also doesn't want to just quit since that would void his contract. I don't think he's done a lot of GM-type stuff in his career yet, and maybe he sees it as a chance to try something new.

Gentry is a below average head coach these days. My guess is that he likes being in Sacramento and the Kings can't afford to lose him from a culture standpoint. I have a hunch Mike D'Antoni will be their head coach next season.

I seriously forgot about D'Antoni. Is he still with the Nets?

Are there really 15-20 HCs better than him this year? I mean I realize record-wise there are, but actual coaching job?

Yes. The Kings were and are not without talent.

I think he's a really good player's coach, but a poor X's and O's coach now.

No. He left after last season.

Ok, thanks. I guess Amare is still there.

I would looooove to see Brooklyn fail to qualify for the playoffs at all. But maybe it's better for them to make it so they can beat up some other teams along the way. I want to see Milwaukee roughed up and tired for the hopefully inevitable rematch.

Anyone who thinks Smart should be DPOY over Bridges literally does not watch enough games.

Have you watched Smart play? I’d love to be able to say this, but I’ve honestly barely watched Smart play this year. 90% of the basketball I watched this year was Suns games.
