Crowder, Cam J, and Payne have all been struggling with their shot

That was when they gave Cam Johnson, Payne and Shamet a lot of extra time trying to get their strokes happening and for the most part it wasn’t happening. Cam Johnson especially was cold during that stretch after being the hottest guy in the nba before getting injured. I hope his stroke returns with a vengeance next game with Booker out.

Since April 1st when Cam J came back from injury:

Cam J is 9/44 - 20%
Jae is 5/26 - 19%
Payne is 5/20 - 25%
Mikal is 5/21 - 24%
Craig is 11/28 - 39%
Shamet is 11/29 - 38%
Ayton is 2/3 - 67%
Ish is 8/17 - 47%
Holiday is 3/12 - 25%

Then our stars:

Booker is 22/39 - 56%
Paul is 7/21 - 33%

Need our role guys to start hitting shots.

After seeing that I think the solution is obvious. Play Bizzy at center and let Ayton play on the perimeter and shoot threes.

And start Ish and Shamet in place of Booker and Paul…

Shamet/Craig/Ish/Ayton/Biz

4 guys over 38%

Does this happen if Booker didn’t play all those meaningless minutes the last 3 weeks of the season? The games we were yelling at the tv to not play 35+ minutes each night?

Asking for a friend.
He sat 3 of the final 6 games and then had a week off…I don’t think it factored at all
Yeah, maybe he needed to play *more* to keep his hammies loose.

This loss still stings, and worried about Book and the rest of the series. But I just looked it up and the Pels shot 56.7% on 3-pointers. There's no way they can keep that up. If they shoot their normal percentage, we maybe win even without Book. I still think we can take these guys.

And maybe we even guard some this time too.

The Pels have been playing great and over their heads. Our turn.

They only played great/over their heads in Game 2. In game one they had one of the worst shooting performances ever.

But yes, it is our turn to have a great game. Hopefully all of the guys that have been shooting so poorly will come around (Jae + Cams) and Ayton will show he is worth a max contract. If that happens, we should win going away.
