No thanks, Durant is washed up. He couldn't even hit a shot in the playoffs.
HAHAHAHA
The dude literally shot under 39% from the field and averaged a career low in points per 36 minutes. Imagine him and CP3 after another year and likely additional injuries.

I've never agreed with his decisions, but KD probably been the most complete offensive player ever.

Probably not skill-wise, but combo of skill and natural talents, yeah.

I’m not sure there’s a player that could fit right in on any team in history as easily as KD could

You mean 22 months before the 2023 NBA Finals. He’ll be almost 35, to go with our 38-year old point guard. Good luck even having both of them on the court together by the Finals.

I’m willing to let my peepee size decrease by 1 inch if it meant we could get KD on this team while keeping CP3/Book/Mikal. That’s how confident I am that we would win a championship with KD. 💪😤

Higher chance of 35 year old KD being on the floor making a difference in the Finals than he who shan't be named.

I’d be more open to KD than Mr Organization Killer, but I would prefer someone closer to their prime (mid to late 20s) even if they’re less talented overall

I would love KAT for Ayton. Better offense, can get better on defense with our coaching staff.

If we had to move Ayton, KAT is the guy I'd want. But I would honestly prefer to keep Ayton most of all. He's 23 and will still continue to get better.

He just wouldn’t be obtainable until mid-season due to the BYC restrictions

It’s really sad we’re focused on moving a long term piece for short term success that will almost 100% falter in the playoffs. We’re a young core that is sacrificing its core who would easily be in the playoffs every year for 5-6 years to be a middling team catered to a 37 turning 38 year old who has never proven to get the job done.

For those of us pining for the good version of Ayton re-signing here and being the player we need at $35M per year, listen to the latest The Timeline pod starting at 44:32 minutes.
