Unsettling end here. Can't stop caring, it's the fucking playoffs. Gross.
Eh. We'll care about the next one. That one was over. Next!

Lol whatever
Yeah Chris Paul played half the game. 28 minutes total. 4 of those was the garbage at the end. But yeah it was our lucky shots that won the game.

Delusional as fuck. Suns controlled that game from beginning to end. The pelicans they are not.

This was a really awful 4th Q for us
It wasn't that bad if we only count the 3 minutes they played hard.
I just don’t like that we gave up…sure the win is what matters, but this is a series…momentum matters. Burying them by 15+ matters
I didn't realize we were doing carry over points now.

Reggie Miller can hype up the last 6mins for the Mavs all he wants but that’s a suns team that mentality checked out and ready go home and watch the latest better call Saul.
Ooh. I almost forgot!

16.8 left and Doncic gets his first foul. SMH
I laughed at that as well.

We just stop caring. Seen it too many times. Reggie Miller keeps talking about positive vibes for the Mavs for game 2, but we really just turned off the switch and stop caring, not because the Mavs are playing better defense. The disrespect for the Mavs by the Suns.
This had to feel like a breather for them after that Pels series.
It was so laid back. Suns in 4 chant started in my section.

We should be able to cruise through this series.

I guess we technically get a clutch win for that now
I thought it had to be within 5 points?

I try to stay away from team-centric podcasts but I ran out of stuff to listen to yesterday so I checked out the Locked On Suns podcast. They did a collaborative episode with the Mavs guys and one of them was Nick Wright. One guy was pretty delusional about the Mavs chances throughout the podcast and it might've been that Nick guy.

I know not everyone has the time or interest in watching different series, but it was plainly obvious the Mavs/Jazz series wasn't nearly as intense as the Suns/Pels series. Yet I didn't hear anyone in the media talk about it at all, and what was the first thing we learned in this Game 1? The Suns played more physical with a higher intensity than the Mavs. It set the tone for the game and allowed the Suns to control the entire 44 minutes that mattered.

I watched the entire game from a sports bar while catching up with a friend I hadn't seen in 10 years. Never were either of us stressed or worried. Ayton had his way. Booker had his way. CP3 hit some ridiculous shots. The end was just garbage time with us up big and playing lax. Felt like Luka had 25 points. Surprised at his total number of points. Seemed Brunson and other were shut down. That tall white guy hit a lot of 3's from the bottom baseline.

Mavs fans can be delusional, like the Nick Wright idiot. Suns never looked in danger. This was far less intimidating than the New Orleans series. Stay optimistic Nick and Mavs fans. Final score is not an indicator of how low stress this game was.
What is smallball? I play basketball. I'm not a regular big man. I can switch from the center to the guards. The game is evolving. I'd be dominAyton if the WNBA would let me in. - Ayton

Doncic’s 45 points were some of the most meaningless playoff points ever.

The Mavs are in trouble if they're leaning on Suns fans for motivation.
